I love making a great ham recipe for Easter and this one from Hormel Family looks like a great recipe to try. All you need is Hormel Cure 81 Classic Boneless Ham already sliced and it’s pretty easy to make from there.
Ale & Apple Glazed Ham
Break from the traditional turkey this year with a delicious glazed HORMEL® CURE 81® ham.
INGREDIENTS
1 HORMEL® CURE 81® Classic Boneless Half sliced ham
1 (6-ounce) package glaze from spiral ham
1 (12-ounce) bottle dark lager beer
¼ cup apple butter
2 teaspoons Di LussoTM Dijon Mustard
DIRECTIONS
1. In baking pan, place ham; set glaze packet aside. Pour beer over ham. Cover; marinate in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
2. Bake ham according to package directions; drain juices from pan.
3. Prepare glaze packet according to package directions. Stir in apple butter and mustard. Drizzle glaze over ham; let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Place ham on serving platter; garnish as desired.
