Adding The Fitbit Aria Smart Scale To Your Get Healthy Routine #ATTSeattle #Giveaway

February 3, 2013 by Momstart 34 Comments

The Fitbit Aria Scale available at AT&T online and in their retail stores is really intelligent. Not only does the Fitbit Aria smart scale let you track your weight, but you can also check your Body Mass Index (BMI) and your body fat percentage and view them on the scale. There is a very bright numerical display that shoes you all the information and shows you what process it’s doing during the set up.

The setup really impressed my husband, even though we douldn’t connect it to our wireless he was still very impressed with the technology built into the scale. You use your computer to talk to the scale, it provided the scale with your network information, then the scale connects to your computer, then it connects to your network and in that final step it fails at our house. Why? because your security is too strong. We went through the on-line help and it said that you have to have a password under 31 characters I think and ours is longer and we’re not going to change it. I was hoping that I could connect it to our phone’s wifi but the Aria is not set up to do that. So my husband is going to have to set up a guest account for the scale to connect to but he hasn’t had time to do that yet. He’s going to have to do some re-wiring, so I’ll be waiting a while before I could use this scale. Since using the Fitbit, I’ve been very anxious to use this scale with it.

Because the scale uses Wi-Fi to connect to your wireless home network – with a range that’s up to 3X better than most BLUETOOTH® scales – you can share data with family or friends inside your home.

Your Fitbit Aria smart scale helps you keep track of the important milestones on your weight management journey. It automatically taps into your, home wireless network each time you weigh in and uploads and saves your information to Fitbit.com. With the Fitbit Aria, you can analyze your fitness stats using easy-to-read graphs, helping you to stop fixating on short-term changes and focus on your long-term progress. When you weigh in, the Fitbit Aria uploads and saves your information to your Fitbit.com account. With this account, you can track your progress with easy-to-read graphs that show changes in your weight, BMI, and body fat percentage. But weighing yourself Is only part of the equation – the Fitbit Aria provides a complete weight management system that gives you lots of online tools to help you achieve your goals.

Take meal breaks away from your monitor. Step away from your computer, phone or TV to really savor what you’re eating, and stop when you’re truly full.
