I’m really enjoying being an ambassador for Wild Ophelia because boxes of chocolate like these show up on my door step and I’m left wondering, do I eat it all at once or try to save a bite for each day. Today, I’m learning towards one box at a time.
Wild Ophelia uses ingredients sourced from esteemed American farms & good artisans. Wild Ophelia is a uniquely American brand featuring all-natural and often organic ingredients. Their chocolate bars tell an American story, and bridge the divide between the local, American farmer’s movement and chocolate. Flavor combinations, such as BBQ Potato Chips, Beef Jerky and Peanut Butter Banana are unexpected, yet approachable. And the Valentine’s chocolate is just plane decadent and delicious.
I like both these flavors. The Cherry Caramel is really great, it’s not too sweet, just a little cherry making it the perfect cherry delight. The dark chocolate salted caramel is a box I don’t want to share with anyone. In fact, I want like twenty more boxes of it and I would continue to lie to people around me saying they are absolutely awful just so I could keep them all to myself. I did share them with the kids this morning and they would tell you the truth. These chocolates are delicious.
Wild Ophelia takes sustainability seriously and they focus on creating unique, high-quality chocolate while engaging with customers and local artisans through an American road trip of foods. Their mission is their goal and it is to educate and to encourage action. They believe people should be aware of their food’s origins and become active and educated consumers by getting involved and asking questions about sources, pesticide practices, and more. They also strive to help children and adults learn to appreciate their food. Their motto: Respect oneself, one’s food, and others, while relishing in the chocolate-tasting experience.
And it’s delicious!
