Because it’s back to school season my thoughts are on teachers. We love teachers in our house. Teachers are undervalued. They spend all day with our children and don’t get enough in return. My kids and I used to take things to the school once a month. Now that they aren’t in school, I home school them, I value teachers even more. We stopped taking things to the local school but still want to do something for the kids. So I was thinking I would share with you guys five ways to make a teacher’s day.
ONE: Give the teacher a gift basket that includes a gift card. A gift card lets the teacher pick out something they might need for the classroom or for themselves. We like to include chocolate because hey, everyone could use a good dose of chocolate at the end of the day.
TWO: We loved to go pick up donuts or some other kind of treat and bring it to the entire school. They would put the food in the faculty lounge where all the teachers could enjoy it.
THREE: Volunteer in the classroom!
FOUR: Pick out extra school supplies and donate them to the school.
FIVE: Make a craft that the teacher can actually use. I’ve read that teachers get tired of the same coffee mug gift. So make something different that they might actually be able to take apart and use in the classroom.

My niece is a teacher and I do work with teachers. They certainly work hard. I think a gift basket is a wonderful gift.
I love sending in special treats/gifts for the teachers. They do a great job with my kids!
my grandkids have been so lucky to have good teachers and we usually like to treat them all year long
