Oh man, I’m still wanting to lose at least 10 pounds before I even think about stepping into a bikini again. I’m hoping to do a lot of traveling this summer with my kids and they are super excited about swimming and going to the beach, so I’m going to challenge myself to participate in the 100 days, Countdown To A Better You with Tyson® Foods, mainly The Tyson® Grilled & Ready®. I love the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® because it’s so easy to grab some chicken out of the freezer or fridge and throw it on the grill or stove or just toss in a salad. And I think I’m almost at the point where I’m willing to make salads for myself and another meal for the family. Of course really, it is more like, salads for me and the kids because they love salads and another meal for my husband, but that’s a secret between you can me.
Not only does Tyson® Foods want to encourage you to eat healthy through the summer but they are providing ways to help inspire you to stay on track with giveaways and coupons. Simply head to Facebook.com/GrilledandReady and click on the “Countdown to a Better You” tab. Then, register for the program. Start purchasing Tyson® Grilled & Ready® products – you only need six bags to be eligible for the first prize level. The sweepstakes they have over there gives you the opportunity to win one of 10 grand prizes – a $500 VISA gift card.

As I mentioned in my post yesterday that included the What’s Cooking in the US infographic, I’m working with Tyson® Grilled & Ready® over the next 100 days, actually we’re down a few days as the program started last week and I’ll be bringing you healthy recipes, smart ideas, and a game plan for staying on track to keep you on the Countdown to a Better You. My advice for today is for you to find a way to get your body moving. Take a few extra steps every day, if you have a sitting job, get up every 30 minutes to an hour and take a quick walk around your office, for me that’s my living room. Keep me updated on your progress and I’ll keep you updated on mine. I’m starting out my 100 days at 150 lbs and I hope to be down to 140 and would be even more excited if I hit 135.
