Johnny English Reborn

I love going to the movies. And I love watching a good comedy. Universal Studios is bringing Rowan Atkinson back in the role of Jonny English.

Movie Synopsis:

clip_image001How exciting! Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the improbable secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn. This looks so cute, In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence officer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos.

In the years since MI-7’s top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia.  But when his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the Chinese premier’s life, they must hunt down the highly unorthodox agent.  Now that the world needs him once again, Johnny English is back in action.

With one shot at redemption, he must employ the latest in hi-tech gadgets to unravel a web of conspiracy that runs throughout the KGB, CIA and even MI-7.  With mere days until a heads of state conference, one man must use every trick in his playbook to protect us all.  For Johnny English, disaster may be an option, but failure never is.  www.johnny-english.com.

LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers Review and #giveaway

Universal Home Entertainment sent us the first Lego movie to be released to DVD, LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers.  We put it in to watch but we couldn’t finish it. Clutch is like Indiana Jones and his travels take him a on journey like The Lord of The Rings. It was too scary for my two year old. However, if you’re child is 3 or 4 or older then it will probably be fine. My daughter who is 3 kept saying that it wasn’t too scary so it’s up to you. Great children’s epic.

From my movie watching perspective; I liked it. It kept my attention and although I didn’t watch the rest with my kids I had to see how it ended. Clutch is a likable character that loves adventures. In his latest adventure he find friendship and team work by, “building on each other”.

Gotta Catch Santa Claus DVD Movie Review and #giveaway

image

On October 13 Lionsgate released Gotta Catch Santa Claus, a new animated movie that will start airing on ABC Family’s 25 days of Christmas. I love Christmas and I can’t get enough of it. If you follow me on twitter then you will know that I’ve already turned on the Christmas music. I’m also aware that all the stores have their Christmas decorations out for sale. Thank goodness for people like me ‘cause I’m ready to deck the halls.

Gotta Catch Santa Claus stars William Shatner as the voice of Santa. I had to watch this and was lucky enough to receive a review copy from Lionsgate. I liked it more than my kids but they watched it with me, even when I wanted to watch it a second and third time. The humor was clean and defiantly family friendly. Not everything that is on the ABC Family’s 25 days of Christmas is always family friendly in my book but this one is.

Do you believe in Santa, boy I sure do. The spirit of giving and helping others in need. This is my favorite time of year. Well, that’s what this movie is about, at least the uncovering the truth behind Santa. Santa also runs into other unexpected trouble along the way but he knows how to handle it and gets back on schedule. Cute little animated move in my humble opinion.
