Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue Review

clip_image001[4]Disney sent me on an adventure in California a few weeks ago allowing me to have an early preview of the movie Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue. I actually have never seen any of the other Tinker Bell Movies. My daughter has been asking about them for quite a while and I purchased one but by mistake picked out the none-blu-ray edition and had to return it. I never picked up the other edition and we’ve missed out on the whole adventure. However, I was completely able to watch the movie without being lost. You can find Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue on Blu-Ray starting September 21st.

clip_image001Tinker Bell finds herself going to the mainland for Fairy Camp. She is quite excited and when she arrives there is nothing for her to Tinker with. So when a human motorized car passed by she had to go check out how it worked. Vidia, as many of you may no her is not very easy to get along with. For some reason she decided to follow Tinker Bell to try and keep her out of trouble.

Tinker Bell loves to find lost things, but trouble likes to find Tinker Bell. As Tinker Bell was discovering new things, she stumbled upon a house built for Fairies. Vidia told her to leave but she went right in. The house was built by a little girl named Lizzy and as Tinker Bell was fixing a watch, Lizzy returned. Oh and I forgot to mention that Vidia slammed the door shut so Tinker Bell was trapped.

Lizzy takes Tinker Bell home and the true adventure begins. Tinker Bell becomes friends with this little girl and together they fix a family!

I was so impressed with the graphics and how well the movie was put together. There was so many things that Tinker Bell did with Lizzy that Zoe would love to do. The flying, the learning how to fly even, or what about when Lizzy traced Tinker Bell. That had to be my favorite part of the movie. We trace our kids on the sidewalk in chalk all the time. So now whenever we trace Zoe, she wants wings attached so she can be a fairy. Then Zoe loves to color herself in. It was just a fascinating tale of exploring the mind of a child. It was heartwarming and colorful taking me places I haven’t been in a long time. If you want to go back to childhood watch Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue.

Disney Blogger Day 2

IMG_4493 So I’ve decided to extend my coverage to two more posts after this one. I experienced so much magic with Disney that it just couldn’t be contained in two posts, there had to be Four, so this if you are a regular reader you will see is post number two. I spent the night at the Marriott’s Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood. Just a hop skip and a jump to the Kodak Theater and the Walk of Stars!

The magic continued on day two with sleeping in. Oh, well my body wouldn’t let me sleep in so I got up at 6:30 just like any other day and decided to use a few hours to get caught up on blog reviews and giveaway posts. I can’t thank Disney enough just for the quiet time you provided me. I zipped out some writing and have 12 posts scheduled out. Woo hoo!

The day began with having our cameras taken away and with good reason. They revealed quite a few secrets and bouts of magic that can not be fully described with words and photos. Only a little pixie dust will do! Which is why there is another full post coming!

dancinglessonsThey fed us well again, in fact, I think I’m off my diet and back up again. We’ll see  how my jeans fit when I get home. After lunch we had Ballroom Dancing lessons with Christian Perry, choreographer for Dancing With The Stars. I loved dancing and wished it would have lasted even longer. Everyone said I looked great on the floor, but I’ve taken lessons with my husband before (and I kicked my partner quite a few times ;-) ). I think every wife should get their husband to take them dancing. Christian said to get your husband IMG_4445in a headlock and not to let go until you arrive on the dance floor. Let the dance hall take care of everything else. He was a great instructor as were all of the dancers he brought with him.

Christian Perry is in the picture on the right and I can’t remember the name of the guy on the left.

After dancing we had another break and then we met for dinner. The rest of the Disney magic was my favorite part of the entire event. They gave us beautiful books about Beauty and the Beast. Disney never forgets the details.

IMG_4449The tables for dinner were beautifully decorated and the lighting was excellent. I just loved every detail. then were we had the biggest surprise of all. We were provided with two Disney original sketches, what I mean by original is that they gave us drawings made right there and each one was different from the IMG_4462other. We watched the artists draw in front of us.

Magic Magic and more magic. we then met Belle, the voice of Belle. Paige. Wow, she is an amazing woman, animated character in real life, and constantly contributing to charity. And meeting her will be post four!

I also made some lasting friends and perhaps that will be another post altogether. Thank  you Click Communications for inviting my to come out and experience some true Disney magic first hand.

Disney Blogger Day 1 Tinker Bell

I’m in the land of magic and pixie dust with Disney. We were magically whisked to the Disney Studios lot to watch an early screening of Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue. Little did I know that the magic was going to happen in the famous Frank G. Wells where they test out how their movies look on film.

Tinker Bell has had quite a transformation over the years and as I still have to write my actual Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue movie review, you can see in my daughter’s Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Vlog that they hit the target audience. Just to forewarn any mothers that wear their heart on their sleeves, grab the tissues because it was very heartwarming, not sad, just melt your heart heartwarming!

After we previewed the movie we were allowed a little time inside the building to take a few photos. Inside they have one of only two surviving Multiplane Cameras that won awards and was once high tech in the animation field. I mean, can you imagine how complex it was to make Snow White look like it was zooming into the scenery? Check it out.

Then after the tour we enjoyed dinner with a view! The Sun was setting

Then I changed my ISO and it looked like it was still daylight!
