I can not get through the day without a cup of coffee and if twitter is any indication on how other moms feel then making sure you or your mom has a new coffee maker for one is the perfect Mother’s Day gift right?

Senseo sent my family a Senseo coffee pod brewer to review. My husband treated me this morning to a cup of coffee; he wanted to help with this review. And my favorite way to create a review is through photos.

The back of the machine you will find the water canister. It is recommended that you wash that and the coffee pod filters as well. There are two different filter sizes, the one pod size and the two pod size. Which one you use will just depend on how strong you like your coffee, and in my family, we like it strong. In fact, the first cup of coffee we made turned out a little weak, so my husband made the second cup and it turned out great! Thanks Honey!

So our recommendation, after you put water in the reservoir and prime it:

Take two pods

Put them into the two pod filter

Close the Senseo

Select the cup size, and for strong coffee you want to select the small cup button on the left

The thing I found really interesting was that when it is done the coffee looks foamy and frothy like you got it at a coffee shop.

I wish the water reservoir was larger. You can only make one or two cups depending on the size you choose at a time.
