Meet another new contributor to Mom Start. My Mother:

My Mom works very hard as a professional cleaner. She works construction sites, cleans houses, and cleans office buildings. She knows clean! I know, because I used to get in trouble for not having a clean room.

SC Johnson contacted me on behalf of their brand Windex and asked if I wanted to review their new product and my mom was the first person that I thought of. Who better to truly test out the Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar than someone that cleans as a profession and is a mother?

The Windex with vinegar is the bomb. it cleans glass with no streaks, it shines granite, and it also can be used to dust without leaving any residue. I also used it on TV screens and shower doors to save time when trying to remove soap scum. it was affective but needed a little dawn dishwashing liquid to help with water spots.

Off Clip on mosquito repellent review.

I purchased one of these for my husband when i first noticed them in Walgreens. He came in from mowing the grass the night before and told me that the mosquitoes were immune to the off we had in the house or the off we had in the house was expired. Well, I think we were out of Deep Woods Off which is what you need to wear if you are in our area.

He gave me one of those looks a husband gives his wife when they are in complete disbelief that a product would work. So he refused to use it, especially after he read that you have to be stationary for it to work, and I never opened the package and well that package is in WA waiting on me to review it.

SC Johnson sent me some Ziploc evolve sandwich bags to review. Being a mom who’s trying to save every nickel and dime I was extremely grateful to receive them. They are made using 25 percent less plastic and they feel very thin. It’s amazing how strong they are when they feel so light. It also makes me feel like I can be green and still have convince. They are manufactured with wind power which is clean energy. And of course in Ziploc style the packaging it comes in is recyclable.

Windex Outdoor Giveaway

I hate cleaning windows. Especially cleaning my outdoor windows. In fact, it’s a special job done only when absolutely needed. Well just recently I was told…

“Louise, you need to clean these windows”… and no it wasn’t my husband. He would just clean them if he thought they needed to be cleaned. I really wanted to try this when it was offered as a review opportunity.

windex The Windex Outdoor All in One starter pack arrived on our door step. I opened it up, snapped it together and read the directions. I don’t usually read the directions with cleaning products, but I was extremely surprised that the cleaning pad was dry. The directions said to spray the window with the water hose and wipe with the pad. The pad is good for 20 windows. I only have eight.

I am always surprised when something says it is going to be streak free and then it actually is. Windex does not disappoint. Not to mention, I was easily and safely able to reach all of my windows. For those of you that have higher windows, you can get extension poles that will easily attach to the Windex outdoor all in one. I have one of these poles from when I painted the ceiling.
