Sara Lee bread keeps the ball rolling on nutrition, moms and kids needs. Now their bread contains DHA Omega-3. There is a coupon for Sara Lee Soft & Smooth® Plus Made with DHA Omega-3 bread available on the Soft & Smooth Facebook page(facebook.com/SaraLeeSoftandSmooth). The coupon is available to those that are current fans of the product and those that want to become fans.

I have not had a chance to go out and try this new bread. I’m umm can’t really talk about what’s going on personally right now, maybe in a few days I can talk more. Extra Creamy Cheesy Bagel Appetizer For your Super Bowl Party #giveaway

Entertaining for the Holidays may be over, however, Football season is still in gear and as we get closer to the Super Bowl there will be lots of party planning going on. I would prefer to watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, but to each his own. No matter what your party planning is you’re going to need some food ideas. So here is one that I like, I edited the recipe from AllRecipes.com. We are a no onion household. It’s a unanimous decision here so I’m sure that if you are an onion person that you might want to add some onions.

Ingredients

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 package of Cream Cheese softened (softened)

2 (6 ounce) packages sliced ham, chopped

24 mini bagels, split

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and ham. If you are a fan of onions you might want to add some chopped onions of your choice (1 cup). Spread onto the cut sides of the bagels. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until toasted.

Sara Lee did not ask me to post this, I worked with them in the past and I received a ton of coupons from them. I have not been able to use all of them so I’m doing another giveaway to use up a few more coupons before they expire.

My family likes to eat Sara Lee Soft and Smooth, we’re still using the free product coupons that we received from the Sara Lee Nutrition Summit but I can see us using these in the future too. They make great snacks and lunches for two growing kids.

Sara Lee is working with Disney on a charity contest (my favorite kind to support) that would allow one winner to go with Jake T. Austin and David Henrie of the Wizards of Waverly Place as they donate 25,000 loaves to a food bank in the winner’s hometown. The winner will also get a viewing party of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie Extended Edition with David and Jake, which releases on DVD on December 15.

Sara Lee Deli has launched a social media campaign designed to connect with and help moms through typical, everyday dramas they face at home and hopefully to add a little humor to your day.

The Sara Lee Deli “Mama Saga” campaign highlights the challenges of parenting through a series of satirical webcam “confessional” videos that ask “How would you handle this Mama Saga?”

Sara Lee Deli is hoping that this new on-line community will reach out to moms and incorporate their new deli meats.

The videos were created in conjunction with Second City Communications, the business services arm of the world-famous Second City Theater, and include such events as dealing with the worst day of the year and preparing a husband to watch the kids. The three improvisational videos were performed by mom-actresses to highlight a day in the lives of three very different parents.
