Olive Garden Sweetheart Sweepstakes Trip To Italy Giveaway Ends Soon 2/19

I would love to go out to eat at Olive Garden tonight with my husband for Valentine’s Day. We didn’t make any reservations and we have no baby sitter and I’m not about to wait for an hour to eat because I know that it’s going to be busy there tonight. Why?

Because a recent OpenTable survey revealed that 35 percent of diners find Italian cuisine the most romantic Valentine’s Day dinner choice. I’ll be going with my loved one very soon, perhaps with my three loved ones later this week when it’s not the day of love.

 

Today through February 19, you can enter to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two to Italy on the restaurant’s Facebook page. It was really easy to enter, just use the Facebook App after adding your basic information. The trip includes:

  • A seven-night getaway for two
  • Train tickets for traveling from Rome to Florence while abroad
  • Hotel accommodations and meals
    Good luck, on and in addition to the vacation package, sweepstakes participants you also have the chance to win a $25 Olive Garden gift card, the gift cards are awarded daily. 
      I received a gift card from Olive Garden to have a Valentine’s Day meal at Olive Garden with my husband, we’ll just be using it at a later date. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

    Hurry Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Bowl Ends Soon

    The never ending pasta bowl is going on at the Olive Garden now and we went just last night for a very tasty dinner. My husband and I both got a bowl of Alfredo. YUM!

    The chicken Alfredo pictured above is not the exact same as the chicken Alfredo you get with the never ending pasta bowl. They told me that the chicken is a little different and we just LOVE the grilled chicken so we paid more for the grilled chicken Alfredo.

    How To Create Your Pasta Bowl:

    Pick your pasta
    Pick your sauce (42 pasta-sauce combinations including two new sauces, Pizzaiola Meat Sauce and Roasted Mushroom Parmesan with Sun-Dried Tomatoes)
    Choose a meat if you like, some of the sauces come with meat.

    Of course we had to get the salad too, but we get the lite dressing. It saves quite a few calories by getting the lite dressing. Our only complaint was that there were only 2 black olives and we had four people eating. That’s not enough olives you know for four people.

    Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Bowl Giveaway

    GRA0135241 LOGO2 If it wasn’t for how many calories were in the wonderful food at the Olive Garden I think my family would eat there twice a month. That’s a lot for us considering at most we eat out once a week. We try very hard to stay home, but sometimes, a mother just doesn’t feel like cooking. And Olive Garden tastes divine!

    To help kick off the annual Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion they conduced a survey to uncover America’s pasta passions.

    olivegarden2 Nearly seven in ten (68%) Americans believe that an Italian restaurant is the perfect place to bring the family. But friends and significant others are a close second! More than half of Americans say that an Italian restaurant is also the perfect place to bring friends (55%) or a date (54%).

    Another interesting fact:

    If given the choice to sit down to an Italian dinner with a special person like a relative, movie star, celebrated athlete or the President of the United States, among others, 47 percent of Americans  would choose a family member.

    If it were me, I would choose my HUSBAND. So I’m part of the 47 percent. Who would you choose?
