Fantastic Savings Every Day Totsy

I’ve been watching my friends on Facebook save money with Totsy for months now. Wondering if I should join in on the huge savings available there and I’ve finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and get me some really great deals on things I need. Totsy is an online private-sale site dedicated to offering apparel, gear, accessories and more for moms, kids and families. Part of the savings fun is sharing with friends, you can gain Totsy credits for free when you invite your friends to join! When your friend receives their first purchase, you will receive $15 in Totsy credits.

Another aspect about Totsy that is near and dear to my heart is that they are a very green oriented company. They recycle at the office, use less packaging materials when shipping products, and they support eco-friendly partners whenever possible. They have partnered with TerraPass, and reduced their carbon footprint by reducing their carbon emissions and sponsoring clean energy and carbon reduction projects. They’re also the first company in private sales to adopt socially responsible business practices. Check out Totsy’s One Baby One Tree program. For every new member who makes a purchase, Totsy plants a tree in their child’s name in a reforestation site in Peru so far, they have planted over 25,000 trees in Peru!

Find the Best Price with JoeShopping.com A Shopping Community Giveaway

JoeShoppingJoeshopping.com is a plethora of information when it comes to shopping for products you buy every day. It is still in beta, and not a whole lot of activity, but you will find product reviews, active sales in stores, and my favorite grocery coupons. There is also a listing of on-line coupon codes and savings from on-line stores in their Coupons and Deals section.

Joe Shopping is basically a combination of comparison shopping (like amazon.com or shopping.com), crossed with the best parts of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, etc.). You can post photos to share with friends, add videos of about the products you have tried and what you might find difficult or extra unique, write a product review of the millions of products in their database, write a blog post about their fondest birthday presents,2FriendlyBadge250 share your latest shopping adventure, you get the idea right? There are plenty of ways to share information. In short, it’s a hefty social network themed around shopping. With each activity you do you earn points and badges.

Oh and did I mention that the points you earned are turned into entries into a monthly drawing? The $1,000 Monthly JoeShopping Sweepstakes is a random drawing. At the end of the month, your total points are converted to entries in the sweeps. So the more active on the site you are, the more points you earn. Which means the more active you are, the better your chance of winning.

You can win even more with the refer a friend program. The refer a friend contest over at JoeShopping.com has a grand prize value of 5,000. I’m pretty jived up about that one, are you? If that wasn’t enough, they are selecting 20 runners-up and if you go and check it out right now there aren’t very many contestants. I’m not even sure if there are 20 total yet. The refer a friend program ends on December 31st.

Mom Start Saving Coupon Trunk #giveaway

The weekly meme

Welcome to Mom Start Saving, where moms can come and leave their link about the hard work they do saving money; and where other moms can find great deals.

MomStart

Saving money can be a very lucrative way to make money when you have a family. You can get so many products for free or next to free if you hunt down the great deals. Even stores that I once never thought about shopping in like Rite Aid and Walgreens are gold minds of deals. Yes, if you buy things off of the right formula then it is very expensive to shop there.

So a lot of the moms that write about saving money know the formula. Look at the ads, play the grocery game, clip coupons, participate in rebates. I learned a lot from The Coupon Mom, but I don’t use her site. It may sound crazy but her site doesn’t work for me. I can save more money just figuring it out on my own or taking some ideas from some other blogs.

I was writing about the savings myself, but it took so much time and so many other moms do it all. I want to start bringing attention to those other moms by inviting them here where we can all comment on each other’s posts.

I’m also trying to get sponsors to make it a little more fun.

This week:

Enter To Win 25.00 to Amazon on behalf of Coupon Trunk, a great place to find coupons, coupon codes, and discounts. Find major store coupons like Walmart Coupons, and Reebok Coupons.

Save 10 % at eebee.com

clip_image001

Do you remember eebee. I did a giveaway quite a few months ago.

You can save 10 percent by using the code “eebee” at checkout.

They make videos, books, and toys for early childhood development.

About eebees:

eebee’s adventures are designed to engage you and your baby with rich play experiences that provide powerful lessons that memorizing letters, numbers, colors and shapes simply can and do not.

Watching and, importantly, “doing” eebee’s adventures will allow you and your baby to see and learn first-hand what happens when you explore a crinkly, crunchy, smooth and bumpy paper mountain or roll, bounce, bop, bang, slide and toss your way around a world of balls and ramps.
