Joeshopping.com is a plethora of information when it comes to shopping for products you buy every day. It is still in beta, and not a whole lot of activity, but you will find product reviews, active sales in stores, and my favorite grocery coupons. There is also a listing of on-line coupon codes and savings from on-line stores in their Coupons and Deals section.
Joe Shopping is basically a combination of comparison shopping (like amazon.com or shopping.com), crossed with the best parts of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, etc.). Welcome to Mom Start Saving, where moms can come and leave their link about the hard work they do saving money; and where other moms can find great deals.
Saving money can be a very lucrative way to make money when you have a family. You can get so many products for free or next to free if you hunt down the great deals. Even stores that I once never thought about shopping in like Rite Aid and Walgreens are gold minds of deals. Yes, if you buy things off of the right formula then it is very expensive to shop there.
So a lot of the moms that write about saving money know the formula. Look at the ads, play the grocery game, clip coupons, participate in rebates. I learned a lot from The Coupon Mom, but I don’t use her site. It may sound crazy but her site doesn’t work for me. I can save more money just figuring it out on my own or taking some ideas from some other blogs.
I was writing about the savings myself, but it took so much time and so many other moms do it all. I want to start bringing attention to those other moms by inviting them here where we can all comment on each other’s posts.
I’m also trying to get sponsors to make it a little more fun.
