Meet Clipo the Hippo:

Playskool sent my family Clipo Hippo for review quite a while ago. We have been playing with him for a quite a few months now and he’s wonderful. They have a hard time sharing him sometimes. Zoe is very attached because it’s purple and Miles loves that it rolls. They both love building stacking and fill and dump. Zoe’s starting to outgrow the dumping and that’s when she wants to take it away from her brother.

The Clipo products seem to be new. It looks like they came out this year even.

Style Six Screen Print by JAKKS Pacific Review

For the Creative girl in your house that is all about fashion. I know all about having a girl that fashion just seems to come naturally too. She’s been a fashionista since she was 18 months old, maybe even younger. She has always loved accessories like hats and sunglasses. Oh and shoes of course.

I was not able to let my daughter play with the Style Six Silk Screener that Jakks Pacific sent us to review because it’s recommended for ages 8 plus and we can’t leave her brother out even if I was brave enough to let her roll the paint on. There are small parts and he still puts things in his mouth. It’s simple enough to do. Just place fabric on the clamshell, place the stencil plate on top, and roll on the paint. Create cool tees by layering on graphics or create custom patterns to make your own unique piece.

Girls can express themselves by customizing their look and expression a unique sense of style. Silk screening is something i know nothing about, but it is very easy with Style Six. With a simple roll-on paint tool you can easily design graphics with many different colors. So you basically have limitless potential with it.

Then, you also get this puzzle. It is a 36 piece puzzle with large pieces. My daughter has been learning with grandma and papa how to put the puzzle together. She loves it. The purple elephant is the first thing she puts together every time.

Boys Christmas idea GX Racers by JAKKS Pacific Review

I was sent GX Racers 360 Spinway from JAKKS Pacific to review on Mom Start. I liked it so much that I have added it to my Christmas Gift Guide for 2009. It reminds me of another toy that runs on track only. This one shoots off and runs on any surface because it goes so fast. It’s a big treat for boys little and big (dad’s). My son just absolutely loves cars, all cars and trucks or anything that goes weeeeeee. GX Racers fall into that category.

JAKKS Pacific just unveiled the all new GX Racers line of vehicles and skateboards capable of producing unheard of speed and stunts. I never noticed this product before I received it in the mail, and now I noticed that you can find it at Target. WOW. I’m sure you can find it at other stores and know you can find it on-line.

All of the cars, skateboards and other items they make for the Spinway are powered by GX GYROS which can race up to 600 scale MPH. There’s another WOW.

I did a very careful review of the 360 Spinway from JAKKS Pacific so that I could donate it for Christmas to my MOMS Club. We’re collecting items for quite a few different charities from now until the end of the year. In January we’ll be doing Birthday packs for the Food Bank.
