Oh …. Scents. I love scents. Warm, tangy, fresh, fruity, flowery. I think the new body was from Caress is all of these. Caress has two new and amazing body washes: Sheer Twilight and Scarlet Blossom. I have had the opportunity in the last few days to ENJOY Sheer Twilight during my showers. Now, I am a soap lady, I must have the thick white lather to scrub myself pink along with my Japanese style washcloth. Taking a shower without my washcloth is simply a waste of time and a lot of hot water. So, I had to put the Caress body wash to the test …. Happy to share it with you: it passed. It lathered, cleaned and made my skin feel pampered and soft. Such a simple pleasure in the morning that soaps don’t really provide.
And the smell …. Yummy. I will be honest with you, ten years ago I would have labeled this scent as ‘grandma smell’ because this is the kind of fragrance my sweet grandma surrounds herself with. But I liked it a lot to my surprise. I actually feel a bit proud that maybe my taste is getting more sophisticated. Sheer Twilight combines the scents of Black Orchids and Juniper Oils and it is amazing how the different layers came out in the warm shower … first kind of sweet then tangy and fresh and I could smell them on my skin for a long time after my shower. Loved it!
