Holiday Appetizer: Autumn Salad Bites Recipe

The Oroweat Sandwich Thin Minis are quite versatile. They can be used for a Sausage & Cheese Sandwich Recipe or for something even fancier.

National Sandwich Day Challenge With Arnold and Oroweat Breads November 3rd

We’ve been enjoying the Arnold/Oroweat Healthfull flax and fiber bread this week in honor of National Sandwich Day coming up. Did you know November 3rd is National Sandwich Day? I actually had no idea, until Oroweat told me. So we had Turkey and Mustard, and Ham and cheese. I’ve toasted up some grilled cheese and I got really creative with some fun spreads. I had a turkey sandwich with spinach and spiced sour cherry spread. The kids used the cherry spread to dip their veggies in. It was quite the success!

Curry Maple & Apple Sandwich Recipe

Summer time means more sandwiches for us. We eat more sandwiches than we do anything else. I’m planning on having them for lunch and dinner the whole week the kids are in summer camp. It’s just easier for me since I’m going to be a volunteer at camp. Yes, I have control issues about who is taking care of my kids but that’s beside the point. I figured I’d share another recipe that I received from Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat. So here is the Curry Mayo and Apple sandwich recipe by Lauren Wood.

Whole Grain Vegetable Sandwich Recipe

As an ambassador for Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat, I wanted to share with you a new product that’s perfect for creating a healthy summer sandwich. Just in time for summer, comes new Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Nutty Grain Health-full Bread. This not-quite-diet bread has big, bold nutty flavor that will help your readers keep their bodies bathing suit-ready without sacrificing on size or taste. Typical diet breads are 40- to 50-calories a slice and half the size of regular bread. Health-full is 80 calories a slice, yet the same size as regular bread – which in general is 110 to 120 calories a slice!  And more, Nutty Grain is an excellent source of fiber, has 8g of whole grain per slice and 5g of protein to help satisfy your hunger.

Arnold or Oroweat Sandwich Thins Review

Sandwich ThinsDepending on if you live east of the Mississippi or West of the Mississippi then you’ll know this brand as a different name. The Eastern states call it Arnold bread and the Western states call it Oroweat. I really love Oroweat it’s just one of the more expensive brands around here. Maybe it’s because you’re paying for that better quality or maybe it’s just because we live in an area that’s cost of living is a bit high.

These new sandwich thins have been seen by the moms in my MOMS Club; because when I used them as a treat I made today for our tea party they already knew what they were and just wanted to know what I thought of them. I like them, I like that they are thin and I do have coupons for them. Not free product coupons but I do have 1.00 off coupons that I received a year ago when I was writing companies and asking them to send me coupons.

Let me share my delicious recipe that I created with these today.

1 Cup sugar

1 package of cream cheese softened

2 tablespoons chocolate icing

Mix together

Then Spread in between two slices of Arnold Sandwich Thins.
