Kellogg’s Fruit Loops with Fiber Pass the Kid Test

Statistics show that an average of 9 out of 10 kids lack enough fiber in their diets? Which explains why every where you look food says “now with fiber”.  I had no idea it was that high, probably means I’m not getting enough fiber too. Kellogg’s knows how tough of a time we have finding ways to increase our child’s intake of anything healthy, and they came up with a great solution by adding a boost of fiber to some of their most popular kids’ cereals.

Yes, Kellogg’s did send me cereal to try, but we did purchase some just a week before the review was sent to us. I bought a huge box that we are still working on and we are enjoying them. My husband eats them for breakfast on Saturdays with the kids. We feel that eating meals together as a family is very important.

There are no changed other than the addition of Fiber. I check calories, sugar, vitamins, the cereal is still fortified with all of the nutrition you are looking for when caring for your family. They just added fiber and that is needed for healthy digestion.

I do want to say that my husband enjoys them. Which is funny because I was expecting  him to say these are disgusting and taste like cardboard. Because that is exactly what he thinks of Kellogg’s Fiber Pop Tarts. Kellogg’s you need to work on your pop tarts recipe with fiber.

The “BOB” Diaper Bag Review

clip_image002I love the BOB stroller. I have recently discovered the BOB diaper Bag as well. Available in nine bold and beautiful color combinations, the bags feature a large stink-proof easy to clean changing pad, an insulated bottle pocket with a cute zebra print, plenty of zippered storage and even a removable waterproof pouch for those messy little surprises. Which is currently out. I forgot to put it back in. You can even use the separate pockets for glasses, cell phones and keys. Which you’ll hear me describe in further detail if you watch my video.

A far cry from the ultra-trendy and costly totes (Dad wouldn’t be caught dead carrying), the BOB Diaper Bags are built to support many years of usage and stay classically stylish throughout. MSRP: $65

My Dualli stroller was purchased but the diaper bag was provided by the Company BOB. I received no other compensation for this post.

Mutsy Grow Up Giveaway

MUTSY GROW-UP!

The most stylish seat at the table for baby.  Mutsy’s Grow-Up! booster seat allows baby to sit in the average grown up chair safely and comfortably.  Grow-Up! features a clever harness to ensure baby is securely fastened.  The easy to clean, easy to transport seat is ideal from when baby can sit unaided to approximately 4 years of age.

Just in case you did not have time to watch the video above here is what I have to tell you. My Mutsy Grow up is the new Blueberry. It also comes in Raspberry, Aqua, Apple, Mandarin. It is soft and squishy to the touch, it must be comfortable because my daughter likes to sit in it. She asks to sit in it. I think it’s a great booster seat for us to keep in the van so that we always have one with us.

It is extremely easy to install and if you watch the video you’ll see how you can tighten it. The design of the straps is very simple and secure at the same time. When I saw all of it at first I was a bit worried, but I’m not anymore. My daughter likes to play with the straps and she can hook them and unhook them very easily so if you’re intent on using it as a security system it’s not going to work. But it is in my opinion safe to use as a booster seat if it is installed correctly.

You can find out more about the Mutsy Grow Up booster seat at Mutsy.com or even order one at Goores.com. Mutsy specializes in strollers and seating.

It’s my party and I’ll Cry if I want to

Dear Sabra,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for hosting my part. My party plans were huge, I invited 42 moms and their children to my Mediterranean themed party. I bought Costco sized packages of veggies and crackers, and chips. I saw that only two people RSVP’d but I didn’t let that get me down. Last time I threw a party my driveway was so full. We had an overcrowded house. This time no one showed up, I was sick (I wanted to cancel anyways) and it snowed. I was so depressed (Even though I wanted to cancel I was still depressed that no one came). I fed my children and my son was covered in hummus. I was too depressed to take a picture of it.

So what did i do today. Today, I crashed my friend’s party. I guess I didn’t exactly crash her party. I was invited, but I took all my party supplies over to her house to share them and it was so much fun. I had THE best time. I talked with other moms and my children played. They played with out needed me the whole time. My daughter is usually very shy and wants me to be right next to her, but today; she played with her brother and other friends. Moms really need to take a break for themselves.

Summer throws awesome parties. The hummus was greatly received as well. My friend Pei said she liked it, she could eat it even though she was on the cleanse diet. Her daughter Ava ate it as well and it isn’t something that her daughter will usually eat. YUMMY Sabra.

I will add pictures and video in the morning of the party I crashed. ***UPDATE*** with video, pictures are still on the way. Darn digital equipment. I wish it was ALL wireless.

Thanks again,

Louise

Da Bib Giveaway

Da Bib has entered our house. I asked for a neutral color because I wanted both of my children to be able to wear it even though I just put it on my son. The reason why my son gets to wear it all the time is because he makes the biggest messes when eating and drinking. He can not take a drink without getting liquid everywhere. His shirts are soaking wet.

Da Bib has saved us from wet clothes. Why is it better? It is better because of the collar that goes around his neck. This elastic fits comfortably and tightly around keeping his entire neck covered. So when liquid goes rolling down his neck as if he has holes in his mouth the collar absorbs the liquid. Now this saves mommy about 15 minutes in time because I don’t have to change his clothes after every snack and meal anymore.

Da Bib comes in different colors, pink, blue, yellow. Da Bib  makes Da Hugs, Da Giggles, and Da Burp. Check them out.

You can win one.

Visit Da Bib and tell me what color you want and who it is for.
