I have been thinking about what to write for this all week. The Parent Bloggers network has asked me what my family likes to sing. Their question is inspired by Bush’s bean chant contest. Well, having an almost two year old she loves to sing everything. How do I narrow it down. Do I pick something new or something traditional. She has been singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star since she was six months old. She loves doing all the hand signals. I think since she has learned how to sign that hands signals with songs is a great enjoyment to her. Her brother, only six months old is excellent at copying her sounds. So they both sing The Wheels on the bus. Or what about the songs we sing to get chores done. We sing

“Clean up,
Clean up,
Everybody Everywhere.
Clean up,
Clean up,
Everybody do their share”

Then she will pick up her toys. I’m really not sure what the tune to the song is.

It is so cute. We’ll sing this during the day and she’ll say scool scool or cool or iiiiing. She is so much fun to sing with.

We also sing Tigger and Pooh’s Now it’s time to think think think.

She’ll point to her temple and say tink tink tink. I love my kids.
