Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 3 Key Features to Love Giveaway

A phone is a phone is a phone. Nope, not all phones are created equal. Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S3 is FANTASTIC. It’s lightweight, shares with a back bump and has a great camera. The camera is so much better than my last phone. The 1.9MP front-facing camera is a great addition. The fact that one could take 720p HD videos from the front camera is very impressive. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a great multimedia player and it played some full 1080p videos. I like the size of the phone and the way it feels in my hand. My husband first said he thought it was really big but I think he’s getting used to this size of phone since his new phone is about the same size and weight. The screen is in HD and it looks fabulous. It’s also enormous. It was very easy for me to adjust to the android software and I was able to easilly add all of my social networking apps.

A Few Key FEATURES:

Camera Capabilities

The camera on the Galaxy S III makes it easy to capture action shots with burst camera shot mode. Burst mode allows you to take 20 pictures rapidly, so you’ll never miss that perfect jump or amazing goal. Smart Alert: Burst shot and best photo The 8MP camera now offers a 20-shot burst mode and will choose the best photo for you. Photos are now possible at the same time as video filming. Face Zoom and Slide Show: Double tap a face to zoom in; automatic slide show generation zooms in on faces as individual pictures for pictures with lots of people.
Social network and camera integration: Automatic tagging of pictures, and the option to send images directly to those identified in them, called Buddy Photo Share, or display social media profile information on screen. Group Tag lets you tag multiple people in one go, if you set up a group first. Share Shot camera mode uses Wi-Fi Direct™ multi-connect, which means you can share photos with multiple users simultaneously. Share Shot can connect with any other device that is Share Shot capable.

Recognizes Hand and Eye Gestures

Since you can enable each motion gesture individually, you can customize the Galaxy S III to use only the gestures you want. To enable hand gestures and learn how to use them, go to Settings > Motion. Check the Motion activation box to show the available motion gestures. Touch the name of any gesture to view a tutorial. Smart Stay: The phone tracks your eyes, so as long as you’re looking at it, the display won’t dim or turn off. If the “Turn Over to Mute” gesture is enabled, you can turn the phone over to mute the ringer of an incoming call, alarm, or alert tone. Direct Call: If you’ve got a contact on your screen, there’s no need to hit call: simply hold the device up to your face and the number will be dialed automatically. To take a screen shot, place the edge of your palm against one side of the screen and swipe your hand across the screen to the other side. While a video or song is playing, cover the screen with your palm to pause the media. And of course you also have voice. S-Voice: That’s S for Samsung, not Siri. This feature allows you to control your phone through voice, eg to turn up the volume, and to ask it questions.

Share Back-to-Back
S-Beam: High speed file transfer via NFC and WiFi Direct, between two phones touched together, operating at up to 300Mbps. If sharing is your thing, the Samsung Galaxy S® III is your phone. With S Beam, you can share large HD files in seconds – just touch compatible devices back-to-back. S Beam takes full advantage of NFC (Near-Field Communication) and Wi-Fi Direct technology, making it quick and easy for you to share photos, videos, documents, calendars, contacts and more. And you don’t even need Wi-Fi® or a cellular signal. My husband and I tried this with his Windows phone on Verizon and they weren’t compatible. They did however recognize that each phone was trying to share something and I was impressed with that. Share Shot lets you share your photos with up to five friends – as you take them. What does this mean? You don’t have to remember to share later; just share on the spot and forget it. Sharing has never been so much fun, so fast or so hassle-free.

Syncing Across Devices
All Share Play and Cast: Share your S3′s screen to a TV, or use the screen as a remote control. Pop Up Play: Play video in a window on any homescreen. Music Hub automatically syncs with your music library (iTunes or Windows® Media Player), then scans your songs and matches them with the titles in the Music Hub catalog so they play at optimized audio quality and reduces the upload time. Unmatched songs are directly uploaded so that you can access all of your recordings, even personal ones. Any time you edit your playlists or buy new music, your collection is automatically updated across all of your devices.
