Klypper is a free mobile application for the iPhone or android used for editing and sharing videos. I love checking out new technology and with blogging video seems to continue to be really popular with brands. I love to use my phone and although I don’t own an iPhone, my husband owns an android, (but I don’t get to use his phone very often) I still went to go check out what all this app can do. Whenever I end up on a larger campaign video is involved. I hate editing so finding something that will help me create and edit fun video for a low price is pretty exciting.
Klypper is a great tool specially for parents or bloggers who make a lot of video to turn their kids memories, annotate them with details they don’t want to get forgotten in time and save it or share it with friends and family; or do the same with reviews. You can easily add text, emoticons, and pictures to the video you create using the app. Check out these sample Klypper videos.
Here is a basic How to use Klypper
Step 1: Download klypper application from iphone store or for the android.
Step 2: Run application
Step 3: Say “Ok” to geo location so we can import from camera roll and your phone. This is needed to access the photo gallery from Klypper.
Step 4: Hit the red record button to record a video.
Step 5: Hit red record button to stop recording the video.
The recorded videos end up on the right hand side of the screen.
You can tap on the > play icon on the recorded videos or the trash can to delete the videos.
Step 6: Tap on the > to PLAY and EDIT the recorded video that you recorded.
You may also tap on the trashcan to delete what you just recorded.
Step 7: Hit the [edit] button and this will bring you to the edit screen.
By default you will be in text edits screen as this button will be highlighted and there will be a tag button to add text on the right.
Editing Overview
Once you have entered the edit screen, at the bottom of the screen you see the full timeline for the video. There will be a red play and pause pin on this timeline. You may grab the red pin with your finger and drag it anywhere along the timeline, play and pause it. Where you pause it is where you will be applying the edits.
From here you can add emoticons to your video.
You can also enter the draw/edit mode and add drawings to your video. You change the line size circles click next to the color palette to select the size and thickness of the lines
When you are all done editing it you can share it to your favorite social media site. Klypper allows instant access to share your videos quickly and easily. You may do so right after editing, or you may use the preferred method of doing so from the play screen from klyps shared/saved directory.
