My bathroom has been boring and plain since the day I moved in. How long ago was that, we moved into this house almost two years ago and I still haven’t really decorated any of the house very much at all. In my bathroom the only decorating I’ve done was a few candles here and there. Take a look for yourself and let me know if you too think I should have a Bathroom Makeover????

What should I do, how should I liven it up? I just don’t know what to do. Should I use more color in the towels, how should I organize everything? Better Homes & Gardens has quite a few cute décor items to choose from.

I like your bathroom! A stainless steel toilet paper holder would look great, large and tall pillar candles on the bath, some baskets for the stuff on the counter, but not much. Can’t wait to see the changes and Good Luck:)
It depends on how you use your bathroom – is it just functional or is it more your retreat? If you use your bathroom to unwind and relax, start incorporating more spa/zen like colors and textures. If it’s purely for getting ready – then add more functional pieces; a shelf over your toilet for more space, update the fixtures and linens, maybe add a little artwork to a wall.

What if you did a tile back splash behind the mirrors which runs only on that wall. You could get a color or multi-color panels. I do LOVE your choice in red towels. Splash of color!

Compared to my bathroom, your bathroom is like heaven. You have so much room in there. Mine is a closet compared to yours. I do have one comment for you; your walls need something. They make the room boring with just plain walls.
Aww, I think your bathroom looks nice! You could always paint it a different color that you like better. We completed a huge bathroom renovation last year and I painted the walls in two shades of pink – I paint my house the same way I design my websites!
