Homemade Hamburger Mac & Cheese Recipe

I grew up on Hamburger Helper and box meals. Ok, I had a bit of half and half it depended on which parents house I stayed at. So I think that’s why I just love semi-homemade recipes. That being said, today’s recipe that I’m going to share with you is a completely home made recipe.

I love it. I grew up on Hamburger Helper too. My wife just gives me one of those strange looks when I say Mmmmmm as I’m looking at the Hamburger Helper boxes at the grocery store.

    Great idea!

Quick, easy and yummy! My kids believe that there is such a thing as “too much cheese” (go figure), so I used a little less of the cheese sauce. Outcome was still DELICIOUS!! Thanks for posting this recipe.

Sooo good! I made it gluten free with quinoa/corn pasta (ancient harvest brand, isn’t too mushy) and Bob’s redmill gluten free all purpose flour. Other than that, I followed the directions. I especially loved the creaminess of the sauce! I was trying to cheer my husband up, I’m sure it will work!
