Day Out with Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011

Just wanted to let everyone know that locally the tickets are on sale and they sell out fast. The Northwest Railway Museum is host to the Day Out With Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011 in Washington. We’ve never been but we have taken a ride on the Toddler Train and the kids love it. So we’re looking forward to having a Day Out with Thomas this year.

Pulling out of the station for its 16th consecutive ride on the rails, the Day Out With Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011 will visit more than 45 cities in the United States and Canada. Day Out With Thomas is the only place for families to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of everybody’s favorite No. 1 engine, Thomas the Tank Engine, and enjoy Thomas-themed activities at the Imagination Station, including stamps, temporary tattoos and hands-on arts and crafts.  Each year the tour grows, traveling to new destinations, adding new activities and welcoming new visitors.

Disclosure: We’re receiving tickets to attend the local Day Out with Thomas.

We love Day Out with Thomas! We first went in 2004 and we haven’t been back since 2009. It is really so much fun for the children and they have free activities, usually, and free tattoos, coloring sheets, and tracks set up everywhere. The train ride is a big hit and then they can have pictures made with Thomas and sometimes Sir Topham Hat. I have been to DOWT in Boon, NC, Spencer, NC, and the Smoky Mountain Railway and each of them were very accommodating, having changing areas in place for Mom’s, and bounce houses for the little ones.

    Thanks for sharing.
