Crystal Light Pure Water Flavor Review

When I was pregnant I had no problem drinking the 800 gallons (or maybe it was just 64+ ounces) of water that people are supposed to drink every day. You did know that, right? You are supposed to be drinking at least 8 – 8 ounce glasses of water each day! Well like I said, when I was pregnant, and then even when I was nursing, I had no problem staying super hydrated. I carried my favorite water bottle wherever I went and had to refill it all the time.

clip_image002Cut to now, when I’m not pregnant, and instead busy chasing around my little one, not to mention just overall not loving the taste of water… let’s just say I know that my body is not getting the fluid it needs. Well, that WAS the case anyway. Now I have a new best friend (if you can accept the concept of friendship with a drink). Kraft Foods sent me a sample of Crystal Light Pure and I am in love. FINALLY, I have a low calorie, on the go drink mix that is free from artificial sweeteners, flavors, and preservatives! Even better than that, there are only 15 calories per serving (though you should know that there are 2 servings in each packet).

clip_image004When I first got my Crystal Light Pure, I was a little nervous about how I was going to use this “on the go” style packaging. Once I discovered that my favorite reusable, travel friendly water bottles were the perfect size for the recommended 16.9 ounces of water, I was set. I just fill my bottle with water, add the powder, screw on the lid, then shake it up.

Kraft sent me their newest flavors of Crystal Light Pure: Tropical Blend, Mixed Berry and Lemonade. I have to say that my personal favorite is Lemonade. The others are equally tasty though. Tropical Blend has a little bit more of a tart flavor while Mixed Berry is a little more mild and sweet. Like I said, I drink them all with a smile on my face.
