When I think of cooking with wine and vinegar, I just can’t think of very many uses for it. I think over the past 10 years the only time I cooked with wine was maybe once. I was making risotto and my recipe required white wine. I never thought cooking with white wine, or red wine vinegar could be used in every day meals, and since I have to cook every day of the week, I’m always open to new FUN ideas. Next time I make a pork dish I’m going to use the Holland House Red Wine Vinegar to pump up the flavor.
Holland House cooking wine or vinegar varieties can be used in sauces, marinades, glazes or sautes without even turning on your oven. Now I’m really impressed. Use the Holland House Red Wine Vinegar to increase the flavor in a gravy, beef stock, or to tenderize your meat. I like to buy food when it’s on sale and the last time pork was buy one get one free, I actually had coupons for the pork too so I majorly stocked up on pork. Now I’m collecting pork recipes and I have my eye on this simple grilled chipotle pork recipe from
the Holland House Recipes.
