Wordless Wednesday–Donations and Hasbro Halloween Treats

Wordless Wednesdays are usually just wordless for me, but this week, I needed to share just a little bit about the products in the picture. At Costco, and I noticed they are on sale at Target this week too, you can purchase the Play-Doh Halloween Packs. I hate letting my kids have candy so getting an alternative to candy is great because then they can play with it and I’m not stressing over the candy. Anyways, the 20 count packages are on sale at Target this week for 4.99 and you can purchase two 20 count bags at Costco and I didn’t see what the price was.

This this is a picture of our box for Operation Christmas Child. We put the Mr. Potato Head Trick or Tator in amongst all of the other toys to fill up the box. We also put a few of the Play-Doh containers in the box to fill in the gaps. The rest we’ll be sharing with our friends for Halloween. Thank you Hasbro for these wonderful Halloween treasures.

Have you tried the Jimmy Dean Hearty Sausage Crumbles yet? I tried them recently and made an excellent dinner. They make any meal that uses sausage ready in minutes because the sausage has already been cooked. Dyson DC31 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Review

imageThe Dyson DC31 actually sucks and when it comes to vacuum cleaners that deserves and A+. Last year about this very same time I reviewed a handheld vacuum and I was very disappointed in it because it didn’t suck very well. The Dyson DC31 Animal handheld is a much happier story because it did clean my floor. In fact it was so easy to use and as far as vacuums go very quite. So quite that Miles even felt comfortable using it.

The Dyson DC31 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner retails for about 219.00 making it a bit on the expensive side, but sometimes you really do get what you pay for. My only wish would be that it would have a bag. As easy as it is to clean out, I would love it even more if somehow it included a bag. That’s the only negative I can come up with.  Oh wait, the battery life is really small. So it would be good to find a place to leave it plugged in so it’s always charged up and ready to go.

 

Dyson is known for it’s powerful products. They product excellent hand blowers in bathrooms, bladeless fans, and excellent vacuums. I have quite a few issues being able to vacuum my staircase. The Hoover Vacuum that I have is just so heavy that lugging it up and down the stairs while trying to vacuum is impossible. The Dyson DC31 Animal Cordless Vacuum is a handheld vac that you use in small areas, in the car and for quick pick ups. I read that it was designed for animal owners so it works great on furniture at removing animal hair. Remember it is best used on small projects because the battery life is from 6 to 15 minutes depending on what power setting you are using it on. It has a short battery life to account for how powerful it is. The Dyson DC31 is a very strong vacuum, sucking up all of the dirt in it’s path.

The vacuum is completely put together except for the attachments and it is quite easy to snap them on and off. Then you can clean it easily by popping it open and dumping out the dirt.

I have so many different pairs of shoes. Some of my favorite brands are, Keen, Puma, Merrells, and all kinds of boots. I live in WA state and it rains so much here that boots with a little heal keep my pants from dragging the ground and being soaked all the time. I don’t have any pairs of heals. I don’t like wearing heals.

Laughing Out Loud This Holiday Season With the Elf Ultimate Collector’s Edition

D-027-04Santa is coming early this year with a re-release of Elf. Elf is one of my favorite holiday movies and I it will be on my holiday movie list this year for sure. Will Farrell is so funny. I just adore his humor and his ability to seem so serious and it comes off hilarious. He’s amazing and his performance in Elf is no exception. Monopoly is Back At McDonalds Gift Card #Giveaway #PlayAtMcD

Hello, My name is Louise Bishop and I am addicted to the game of Monopoly. I have about 50 different versions of Monopoly in my house and I plan on getting new versions as they come out. I for one am a huge fan of Marvel. I’m not a comic book reader by any means but I do love to watch all cartoons, movies and tv Shows about super heros. Yes, I am a tv junkie and I’m not afraid to admit it, and I’m a cartoon junkie, oh and I’m a super hero junkie.
