Last year I went to the nutrition summit with Sara Lee. There I learned about nutrition and feeding my family. I don’t believe that High Fructose Corn Syrup is bad for you, but I know from going to that event that it is an important factor for many of my readers and very close friends. Some of them will not eat food that has high fructose corn syrup added. Sara Lee heard your cries as well and now makes white and wheat bread without high fructose corn syrup. The major difference that I noticed was how soft the bread was. I’m sure that has nothing to do with anything, but it was something I wanted to be sure to mention!
Same great taste in my opinion!
Sara Lee Soft & Smooth Made with Whole Grain White Bread is now a good source of fiber and contains 10 grams of whole grain per 2-slice serving. Also, Sara Lee Soft & Smooth 100% Whole Wheat Bread now gives consumers vitamin D, as well as an excellent source of calcium and whole grain with 26 grams per two-slice serving.
Sara Lee sent me two loaves of bread so that I could try it out. They also sent me a Bento box with a coupon for another loaf of bread. These are both for me to donate to charity. I’m quite excited about using it as a donation and that I got to see what exactly get to giveaway to one lucky reader.

I know it is not good for you and seems to be in all of the foods you should not eat but sometimes you just need a little bad stuff.

I think it’s something everyone could use a little less of. Thanks for the chance.

I see high fructose corn syrup on the same level as sugar. In moderation, it’s not going to hurt. But if you don’t need it, don’t use it.

I try to avoid it as much as possible, but I’m not a fanatic. I’m not totally anti-high fructose corn syrup, but if there’s an easy way to avoid it, then I’ll do that.

I try not to give my son foods with high Fructose corn syrup or sugar. I think it makes him hyper!
I think it is okay, but the problem is, is that it is being put in everything. It makes it hard to lower it in your diet.

Like the commercials say, I believe corn syrup is okay in moderation, but like most foods too much can be bad.
I am not a fanatic about it but if I have a choice I’ll usually by the version without HFCS. I think it is not good for us to be consuming so much of it. Most things can be made without it so if we ask for it producers will start providing it.

I think it’s not healthy. Recent reports indicate that it may cause or contribute to pancreatic diseases especially cancer.

I think it is a great thing to cut from their products. That way I can eat corn in a dessert!
