The “map” has been my son’s job as soon as he started walking. He’s now 13 and it’s still his job

My son loves maps too. He even takes books and pretends they’re maps from time to time.
I think it makes him feel like he can show ME the way and be a leader. It’s too cute.

I don’t think my first little mini poem went through to you, the internet went out yet again. We have DSL,
yet this still isn’t foolproof. Ahh well, I’ll try to give you a mini poem again, I don’t know if it will be as good as the first one though.
Mini Poem: Map Girl
The grownups don’t know the way and are afraid to ask
so glad I brought along the map so I can take on this task.
If we go Northwest
you’ll see that this route is the best.
I think they even have a little gift shop over that way
where you can buy me a cute gift for showing you the way.
If we stay on I-90zillion and three,
that would be the wrong way because we’d be in Calgary.
Now come with me I won’t get us lost
not unless this map is tossed.

LOVE IT! So where did she want to go? I just did a cache at the zoo the other week and it was at the west enterance which looks just about where she’s pointing. We should do the zoo together! Are you members? MSFT gets you $10 off.
Let’s go to the zoo one day then. You pick when, hopefully we can work out a day where both of our kids are not in Pre-school.
