I’ve been sitting on this review for a while because there is so much to say about Zeo and it is all good. My husband and I spent a month reviewing the Zeo, a sleep measuring device. Yes, it measures how well you are sleeping, the depth of your sleep, the length of your sleep. It determines how many times you wake up, and your overall sleep score.
We took turns and in the end wanted to keep the device, it was just a loaner, so sadly at the end of the month we returned it. My husband has decided that when it can measure two people at the same time we will buy one. But it has to be in our budget to, because honestly, I would have purchased it for him for Father’s Day if we had the extra money for it.
Zeo Personal Sleep Coach (www.myzeo.com) conducted a study with Sentient Decision Science, LLC of 2,000 consumers of which 70% of women with children said they didn’t they get enough sleep – can you relate?
We can both relate, but my husband does not sleep well at all EVER. So using the Zeo to understand his sleeping habits was not only fun but useful; it was also satisfying because we are both very analytical people. We love data and numbers, yes we are both nerds, computer science geeks. We love playing with new technology and comparing each other’s stats, but it wasn’t a surprise to find out that I have average to above average sleep at night and he has well below average.
Zeo’s supplemental online coaching program helps educate you on how to achieve smart, efficient sleep, rather than just logging hours. The system walks you through a 7-step Sleep Fitness Program that enables you to “wake up” to they lifestyle habits and factors that are attributing to your lack of quality sleep. You can record you sleep data on a daily basis and track your improvement results over time.

I know that if I work on my blog up until bed time then I’m all stressed out all night long. I can’t fall asleep easily and I wake up feeling like, oh I didn’t do this or I didn’t do that. So I will fall asleep faster and easier if I get off the computer at least 30 minutes before I go to bed. Using the Zeo can help you determine patterns like this and use them to get better sleep.
Looks:
The headband that you wear at night is not exactly attractive but it is comfortable. It never kept me from sleeping. It is very adjustable and light.
It’s a very stylish machine, and my husband thinks it would make a beautiful alarm clock even if it didn’t have all of the other features that it has. Our nightstands aren’t nice enough for the Zeo.

In Summary:
We love the Zeo. It’s a great alarm clock, and sleep analyzer. It’s fun to use, and useful.

I constantly wake up during the night, tossing and turning! I’d love to find out how to stop it! Thanks for the giveaway!
I usually wake 2-4 times to turn over and once to potty. I don’t really feel rested when I have to wake at 7;30.

I have a very hard time sleeping like your Husband. I toss and turn all night. I always have 3000 things going on in my head at any time so it stays with me while I sleep. Unlike me, my Husband hits the pillow and he is out like a light. He can sleep 4-5 hours a night and still be up and about like he slept for 12 hours!!!!

I’m sleeping very poorly, now, thanks to my 2 month old. I tell ya, having a 2.5 year old who sleeps with no issues really spoiled me…

Because we have more than 20 hours daylight in Alaska for summer, it’s been a struggle to sleep continuously at night and get a good rest. I’d be curious to try this out!

I’m shocked when I get a full night’s sleep without waking up at all. I bet I wake up once or twice on my own and the kids get me up any number of times a night, not to mention my husband’s snoring.
