Sara McLachlan is one of my favorite artist because she is so easy to listen to. Laws of Illusion is her first studio album of brand new material in 7 years. The return of the historic all-female Lilith Fair festival this summer! From 1997 through 1999, Lilith Fair was one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world, with over 2 million fans in attendance and raising over $10 million dollars for national and local women’s charities.
Laws of Illusions is all the same style, easy listening and quite sing able. Even Miles was trying to sing to it upon the first listening session. I put this CD in the van so that I could make sure to get some quality listening in. I think her music is easy to identify and it reminds me of the music I used to listen to before I had children. She has such a soothing and relaxing style that keeps me calm during the storm of children. You know, kids are my favorite part of life but they do drive me up the wall sometimes and Sarah can bring me right back down.
