GelPro Kitchen Mat for Mother’s Day

The “Oooohh” and “Awww” award for a Mother’s Day Gifts should be awarded to GelPro for their comfortable kitchen mats. GelPro recently sent me one of the mats for my kitchen, and my feet are enjoying it as I’m making dinner. I have this little area in my kitchen that is my main prep area, it’s a triangle, pantry to the sink to the oven. The mat they sent me is the smallest size that they make, the 18” x 24” and retails for 69.95 and it fits nicely in that area. I think it’s a great size, but maybe someday we would upgrade to the  20” x 72” and have the mat go the entire length of the cabinets in our kitchen.

When the kids are in the kitchen with us the mat is going perpendicular to the counters, otherwise it’s parallel.

I don’t notice it as much if I have my shoes on, but when my shoes are off, it really does make a difference in how my feet feel. I feel all cushy and and supported. The comfort is based on a revolutionary gel core technology that feels great. The non-slip bottom material has anti-microbial additives and the top is made of a stain resistant material.

At my playdate, the mat did not go unnoticed. Another mom had to know the brand and where to get one. They are beautiful, and have so many options (9 styles total) anyone should be able to pick out a pattern and color combination that will match their taste and kitchen decor. We were able to pick out the color and texture of our mat. I asked my husband to help and he went to GelPro.com and used their interactive kitchen tool and that’s how we knew that the red would look good in our kitchen. In fact, I picked mine out to add a splash of color to my kitchen. The red looks great against my dark hard wood floors.

GelPro sent me a mat to review free of charge to facilitate this review. I’m quite satisfied with the mat and may in the future purchase more mats. I defiantly recommend them.
