Wilton is a well known baking brand. When I started looking at the name of the cooking pans that I have I realized, I have a lot of Wilton cupcake holders and pans in my house. We eve purchased two new ones this Easter. One Silicone pan Before Easter

The tip I learned was sunlight or fluorescent light will cause some colors to fade. After the cake is decorated, it is best to keep in a cool room and out of direct light.

  19. Charlene Kuser says:

One tip I really like is fat free dairy products such as yogurt or buttermilk work quite well to replace fat in desserts and to decrease overall calories. You can use 1/2 as much of the substitute as the total amount of fat called for in the recipe. If the recipe calls for oil, you may use 3/4 of the substitute, adding slightly more if it is dry.

Fat provides color, texture, tenderness and moisture in our favorite desserts. So for those of us watching what we eat, how can you enjoy that delicious brownie without all the fat and calories from using oil or butter?

  22. heather says:

I learned that baking a cakes, for optimum height and texture, cake ingredients should be at room temperature prior to mixing. Eggs and butter from the refrigerator usually need about one hour to reach room temperature.
