Select Comfort makers of the Sleep Number bed have given me the unique opportunity of giving one of their beds away. So I wanted to fully understand the product; I played investigative reporter over the last few weeks gathering information from twitter followers, on-line and one-on-one in the local Select Comfort Sleep Number bed store. I learned quite a bit about these beds and I really want one. I wanted one before all of this research, but now my guns are fully loaded the next time I ask my husband for one. The best thing about everything I learned is that everyone loves their bed. Why? Lots of reasons!

The Sleep Number mattresses use the latest anti-microbial treatments in all foams, and all bed covers are treated to be anti-microbial and anti-fungal. Additionally, unlike traditional innerspring mattresses, the Sleep Number bed has a unique zip-open design that allows you to easily open and view the inside of your bed, and ventilate or vacuum, if you choose.

What does this mean?

It means, within an hour of touching the foams, and bed covers with the anti-microbial treatment the germs that transferred are almost completely depleted. How does it work?

The 8 models are broken down into three different categories: The Sleep Number Classic Series, The Sleep Number Performance Series and the Innovation Series.
