One in five children in the U.S. live in poverty and millions of children don’t have access to regular check-ups and timely doctor’s visits when sick. Children’s Health Fund (CHF), a non-profit organization committed to providing health care to the nation’s most medically underserved children and their families, and Clorox are working to change this and connect kids to ongoing health care through a new program called Connect Kids to Care.
As part of Clorox’s commitment to preventive health for families, the company is donating half a million dollars to CHF to help support their goal of providing half a million health care visits to disadvantaged children across the country, over the next two years.
In addition, Clorox is donating $1.00 for each new fan on the Clorox Facebook page, up to $100,000.
To help Clorox spread the word and help CHF provide health care visits to children in need you can:

Without access to regular health care, many children go without treatment for common ailments, like asthma and cavities, which can lead to serious problems if left untreated. CHF’s mobile medical clinics go into underserved communities to bring ongoing health care to children at schools, community centers, homeless shelters and other places in the heart of the community.

It is the time of year when schools are going on Field Trips. I used to look forward to going on field trips every year. The best one I ever went on was when our school went to visit King Tut’s exhibit in Dallas. It was at the Science Museum so there was plenty to do in addition to the exhibit, but I have always had a huge fascination for Egypt and history. Where have you gone with your school?
(Amazon affiliate link). Three of the actors/dancers from the movie Fame are leading exercises. It made me realize just how uncoordinated I have become trying to do the dance moves was really hard. I used to be flexible and able to kick, shake and shimmy. Maybe with more practice I’ll be able to do that again. Biggest point is that the kids got moving and were quite cute, repeating words that the dancers were using. They were counting and happy. What more could a mom ask for. 
. Jillian is an expert when it comes to getting men and women to exercise and lose weight. I’m going to see if the box art lives up to it’s promise and starting next week, do the Yoga Meltdown every day with the kids. I know it’s going to be great, except for the fact that every time I lay down they just dog pile me.
