The magazine, Good Housekeeping, has named Schwan’s Chicken Pot Pie a winner of a recent taste test comparing various brands’ takes on one of the ultimate all-American classic comfort dishes. I have to agree that it is wonderful. It doesn’t matter if you cook it in the microwave or the oven it comes out flaky and evenly cooked. I’m quite impressed with the quality as most pot pies you cook at home do not come out well unless you cook them in the oven.

I made them in the microwave too but I forgot to take a picture, it’s not quite as golden brown out of the microwave but it is evenly cooked. There wasn’t any cold spots or really hot spots. I’m very happy with our service. Thank you for the review!
