Why My kids Love the New Frigidaire Double Door Fridge

Our last refrigerator was stainless steal just like this one, but it was not magnetic and it was so sad. My husband and I had a ton of magnets of the kids that we gave away when we changed refrigerators. The kids have never had a large surface for the magnetic toys and then one day Zoe put one of her Mickey Mouse magnets on the fridge. I told her it wouldn’t stick but lo and behold it did. So now, my brand new Frigidaire double door belongs to Zoe and Miles. It’s their Play board.

We’re leaning letters and how to spell. Zoe loves to spell “Zoe” “Dad” and “Miles” oh and occasionally she wants to know how to spell “mad”. She likes to say, Mommy I’m mad at you. ‘Cause she didn’t get something she wanted.

ShaToBu – The Exercise You Wear #giveaway

Do you ShaToBu? (I was given ShaToBu try out and use before it hit the shelves on-line. During that time, I changed sizes and they sent me a smaller size so that I could continue the testing period, I’m very grateful)

I do! ShaToBu is the new shapewear that helps you use up to 12 % more calories than doing the stairs a long. Acutally, any movement that uses your thighs through your abs can benefit from ShaToBu. I’ve been using it on my stairs at home, on the steps and park benches at the park, and when I’m walking with my kids we’ve been doing marches, so I bring my knee up to my chest and I’ve been feeling the difference in my muscle tone around my rear end. ;-)

I feel tight at the end of the day like I’ve worked out and I never go to the gym. When using the ShaToBu, you need to make sure you have the size that fits you, and wear it often. I was doing really well with it in the first half of the month in February and then I stopped and lost my confidence and my will to try.

ShaToBu gives me confidence in the way I look. When I’m wearing it I don’t hand over my jeans and I can fit into jeans that I have trouble fitting into without it. I can even wear the jeans all day. I think you have to be a little pudgy to understand what I’m talking about.

Thankfulness in Prayer!

Most often we talk to God when we are in need. When we have wants and desires. Wait, maybe I should just say, me. I pray the most when I need Him. I need something today God can you take care of this for me? Sometimes, I ask him for little things but most of the time it’s huge. I’ve been feeling that he takes care of me in ways that I don’t ask for and I forget to say thanks.

I have to say thanks for all the wonderful opportunities He allows me to have. He watches over my children, my family and even allows me time to blog. I know that as I spend more time with Him it has increased. As with everything in my life, I’m not perfect and do not give Him enough. That’s another thing I’m working on. It’s one reason that I’m writing my post. You guys help me to stay accountable in so many different ways.

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his excellent greatness!

Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;

I want to thank all of my readers too though.  You guys have been awesome with me over the past year and a half and I’m just now discovering the value of community and creating my own. I need to thank all of you for hanging in there with me and being there for me when I hardly ever give back. That’s why I really want to come up with more ways to interact with my readers. When I saw that one of my most commented posts was a request for prayer, that just told me that I need to be more open about my life, needs and belief in God. God did that through all of you!

I don’t consider myself one of the “top bloggers” but I do have a lot of volume and traffic and I’ve never been even decent at responding to comments or e-mails. That’s going to change. I’m going to work really hard to build better relationships with you guys (but expect it in baby steps, I don’t want to make any promises I can’t keep). By responding to e-mails, and comments over e-mail. Not just returning the visit to your blog. I hope that I can then find when you need me to return the prayers.

Fitness Friday – Is Hasbro’s Scrabble in Family Game night Considered Fitness?

Are Scrabble marathons considered Exercise because if they are then I exceeded all my goals. This is what I’ve been doing whenever my husband has been home.

We’re in the middle of a game of scrabble right now. It has been cutting into my productivity of my blog as well. I had hoped to post a few more giveaways this week. I guess I’ll have to try and get my but in gear this weekend, but that means more time with DH so I doubt it will happen. Maybe that’s why I’m so tired.

I did cut down on the latte’s I only had one even though today I really really wanted to get another one. Thank goodness I was able to tell myself, it’s after four, if you have one now you’ll be up all night. ;-)

I think I’m under 150, but I expect the scale to go back up, it’s just not enough to count, I’ve been hovering around the same number for two months, so I know the only way to change is to take drastic measures. I know that exercise gives you more energy, there is just something about cold and wet that makes me want to stay indoors.

Oh, I should say that I’ve been using my stair case. It’s been great. Which reminds me of a giveaway I need to go write up. It’s a great product that will help you exercise too.

    Lacing Tips by my daughter Zoe

    My daughter was giving out lessons on how to lace. It’s her first every video log. You might have to turn the volume up but she is adorable. Of course her directions were much clearer before we got the camera up. I was trying to help her give the same quality directions she was before but we had to share her sound advice with everyone learning how to lace. 

    About Zoe:

    Zoe is three years old and knows what she wants. She is very opinionated, and strong. She likes playing with Play-doh and coloring. Her favorite food is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and bananas.
