My daughter watched The Princess and the Frog today and now all she’s talking about is that she needs to kiss a frog and that she’s now a frog too. It’s really cute and she’s having a great time pretending to be a princess. In the bath tub last night, she was telling me, I’m going to kiss a frog, then she moved as close as she could to her brother in an attempt to kiss him. Then she said, you’re a prince bubby!
Disney has been celebrating the release too and they wanted me to post the following information and share it with my readers.

Sunday, March 14th, 2010 – New York - The court of Disney Princesses was joined by Anika Noni Rose (“Tiana”) and a host of celebrity guests as Tiana was officially crowned the ninth member of the beloved Disney Princess Royal Court. A magical ceremony took place in the Grand Ballroom at the historic New York Palace in Manhattan. As the newest Disney Princess, Tiana will forever be celebrated and recognized as a Disney Princess across all divisions of the Walt Disney Company and will be included in all Disney Princess merchandise featuring multiple Disney Princess characters.

Joining Anika Noni Rose in celebration of the coronation was Tina Fey, Melissa Joan Hart, Kelly Rutherford, Audra McDonald, Nigel Barker, Brent Zachary, Alesandra Ambrosio, Matt Walton, Amy Landecker, additional voice talent from the film Jenifer Lewis (“Mama Odie”), Jennifer Cody (“Charlotte”) and Michael Leon Wooley (“Louis”) along with Disney Princess cast members Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Snow White, and Prince Naveen!

That is sooo cute! Kaydee has been the same way except daddy is the frog, ribbits and all. I can’t wait for her to see this movie.
My granddaughter would just go crazy to see this and she is my princess. I love the beautiful gowns!
It’s very cute that your daughter now wants to kiss a frog. I’m so glad that Disney brought back their original style of cartooning. I haven’t seen it yet, though.
I collect froggies and have them all over the house…my niece has certain ones that she can play with when I babysit for her. She loves frogs and can’t wait to see this movie!
This is such a great movie. I am so thankful that they came up with it. Sure to be another classic for years to come.
My daughter and I really want to see this. I actually entered a giveaway this morning for the DVD. Wish me luck
