Do you make your own Easter Baskets or do you buy them pre-made. I’ve been thinking about putting my own together for the kids. I certainly don’t want to give them any candy. We love watching movies, coloring, and painting and I know putting all of those things together would make a great basket.

This will be our first easter with our new addition so we are yet to begin any traditions, although we are planning to color eggs and spend time with family;)
Sunrise service at church and then eat Easter dinner with a baked ham. Children have outgrown Easter eggs.
This part of Texas we make confetti eggs where you take empty enact eggshells and dye them, let them dry and fill with confetti, cover the hole up with tissue paper and then on Easter, you smash them on everyone’s heads.
I always made up baskets with beautiful cellophane wrap and a big bow for my kids. Now that they’re grown, and I have two granddaughters, I try not to give them too much candy, but give them books, art supplies, spring toys and bubble water. I use multi-color pastel straw as the base for the basket, place the items in and use pastel cellophane and a large bow for each basket. If we are visiting their home, we all have a great time coloring Easter eggs and then having a fun Easter egg hunt!
Our Easter tradition is going to church and then coming home for a wonderful family dinner. Of course the Easter bunny visits but our day is more about family.

We like to hunt easter eggs in the house on Easter morning.
We let the little ones dye eggs while they tell us what Easter means to them.
We color eggs and I hide baskets full of treats and trinkets for the kids to find.
We go to church and eat ham!
Thanks for entering me! Great Contest!

My Easter traditions are to have a nice ham dinner with my family, eat some Easter candy, and just enjoy the day.
Our Easter traditions are to eat breakfast, go to church, and then to have a nice afternoon and evening with friends and family. We do the kids Easter hunt in the afternoon~ Basically it is just a day full of fun!
our Easter tradition is a big family picnic on Saturday and then we do an outside scavenger egg hunt at home with our teenage girls on Sunday Morning. The clues lead them to their baskets (I have always made their baskets with a little gift and our favorite candies). Our son is 3 this year, so we will hide eggs outside in our yard for him to find.

Our kids get up in the morning, hunt for Easter eggs and their baskets, then we go to my family’s house for Easter dinner.

The Easter bunny sends my kids magic jelly bean seeds a month before Easter. My boys “plant” them by our rosemary plant and when every few days or so we place jelly beans in the plant. We also do something similar at Halloween with candy corns.
