I have one more Chicken Soup for the Soul that I received last month. Chicken Soup for the Soul: NASCAR. This is a book that people like my mother would love to read. She is all about watching the races and hearing personal stories about the drivers would just make her day.
The Foreword is written by Darrell Waltrip (I always think of Cars and Darrell Cartrip)
Book Description:
101 Stories of Family, Fortitude, and Fast Cars
NASCAR and Chicken Soup for the Soul join forces, with well-known NASCAR columnist Cathy Elliott leading the charge. NASCAR drivers, their families, and teams slow down enough to share their stories of family, fortitude, and fast cars. Readers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the action on and off the track. Famous drivers and those closest to them, pit crews, families, and fans all share their stories of perseverance, triumph, comebacks, and life. Fans will get a front row view, and be inspired, surprised, and sometimes amused by these exclusive, up close stories from the track, pit, and the road.

We have several favorite drivers. Of course we love Junior, (I vote no beard). And my son who is 5 loves the Lowes Team, Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus (CC). Last summer we went to Hendrick Motorsports and he was able to get his picture taken with Chad, truly a great memory.
