Just this last week we received the Pirate Potty and the Princess Potty. I have not been home so I really can’t give you a great review on it. I can tell you from looking at the previews on line that it is a really cute way to get your kids in the potty frame of mind. I can’t say that it will make them potty train with the snap of the fingers. My daughter loves to have books with her while she’s practicing. We have a stack of books and these will be added to the stack for her and her brother to read.
BOOK SYNOPSIS:
Both books provide a helpful, step-by-step story that introduces girls & boys to the concept of toilet training. Pirate Potty is a pirate-themed, toilet-training book that is fit for the little swashbuckler in your life! Includes a pirate’s hat and reward stickers! Princess Potty follows the same theme…a toilet-training book that is fit for the Royal Highness in your life! This book includes tiara and reward stickers!
I love the illustrations and my daughter is going to love the stickers. Maybe that’s what I need to do to get her excited about going potty. Even chocolate hasn’t worked but she has a passion for stickers. I just thought my passion for chocolate was already engrained in her, I really am liking this idea now. I think the reward of stickers is going to work. I’m not sure she’s ready for a tiara yet. I also can’t wait to put the pirate hat on my son. I hope to be able to write up a real review for everyone later, I just have to stop making promises on my blog.

my potty princess is EXTREMELY stubborn and unwilling to potty train. She is three years old and knows exactly when she has to go and when she doesn’t. She just likes to wear diapers (her words too).
Drives me Crazy!!

My daughter is almost 16 months old so we aren’t quite ready for potty training yet but she LOVES her books so I think this would be great for when we get there. We don’t even have a little potty for her yet (I think that purchase is coming up though) but she got to use the adult potty one evening when I quick pulled her out of the bath!

We haven’t started training our little pirate yet, but we hope to start soon. Would love to have him trained before he becomes a big brother in September, but we aren’t getting our hopes up!

My nephew could really use this! He has been fighting my sister about potty training so much! She may as well walk the plank! haha!

My son is 15 months old and could care less about using the potty. He will use it for a stool, a drum, a hat, and a toy box, but not as a potty. He won’t sit down on it for more than 2 seconds – busy, busy, busy. I need something to make using the potty fun. Thanks for the chance!

My Potty Pirate is a budding poo-casso! He is only occasionally interested in his big boy potty and would rather run in his room and finger paint with his dirty diaper. Arrr… makes Mommy want to have him walk the plank!

My son did better training 6 month ago – he’d sit on the potty on his own. Now we have to remind him all the time. We’ll get there eventually!

My potty pirate potty trained through a love of potty books when he was 20 months old! My potty princess will be born in May, so she has a long way to go, but I hope she will be like her big brother with the potty training.

My potty pirate is getting close to start potty training he wakes up after naps pretty dry and we have to change him less often because he must be holding it longer. This would be a great tool to use when we start the whole process!

My potty princess is almost two years old so we don’t expect much. We’re pleased with the handful of times she’s peed on her potty. I hope this story will keep her interested and focused
