Have Game Time on a Budget: A Walmart SuperBowl Party #giveaway.

What is it about the SuperBowl that makes it so super. Is it the red blooded American enjoying a game of super tag, chasing each other back and fourth across a field of green and white? Is it the commercials that we wait for with anticipation, probably the only time of year we actually want to watch the commercials? Am I right? Or is it just another excuse to throw a party and fill our houses with the people we love?

For me, I like to watch the puppy bowl, it’s on at the same time as the Super Bowl on Animal Planet and then I’ll watch the commercials on MSN the day after the game, but I still love to throw a good party with all of my friends. I’m at my dad’s house this year though and we’ll be watching the Super Bowl with all his brothers (my uncles) and buying all the food at Walmart. He lives so close to Walmart we could walk if we needed to.

With Walmart’s low prices, I can afford to host a big get-together without the stress of having to cut corners. Walmart’s game-time snacks for as low as $44 includes one package of Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs, one package of Johnsonville Bratwursts, two packages of Great Value Hot Dog Buns, two boxes of T.G.I Friday’s Frozen Appetizers, one Hormel Supreme Party Tray, a 12" Chocolate Chunk cookie and two boxes of Nabisco Wheat Thins or Triscuit Crackers. And, in addition to offering savings on snacks and groceries, In addition to saving money serving 8 people your best party food, Walmart is offering a great deal on another item we all drool over.

Need a new TV for the big game? Walmart has them on sale to help you with your super bowl party. Even my dad is drooling over the big screens right now. Walmart is dispelling any myths that HDTV prices spike higher this time of year with a full line of new HDTV savings.
