The soundtrack to the new movie, “CURIOUS GEORGE 2: FOLLOW THAT MONKEY” was sent to me to review. I want to be completely honest and say that I have not had the time to give it the attention that it deserves. But I will say,
With all things Curious George, we loved it. Curious George reminds me of my son, he’s always getting into something but can get out of trouble just by smiling and saying I’m sorry, well my son has the added effect of batting his eyes at you. The cuteness just melts your heart.
The world’s most beloved and inquisitive monkey is back in “CURIOUS GEORGE 2: FOLLOW THAT MONKEY,” the sequel to the 2006 animated hit movie. The soundtrack to “CURIOUS GEORGE 2: FOLLOW THAT MONKEY” features the Rivieras hit “California Sun” performed by Brian Wilson as well as all new songs by Carbon Leaf, a special title track recorded by 429 Records’ artist Jackie Greene and an original score by Heitor Pereira.
Movie Description:
Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat set out on a madcap cross-country adventure to reunite Kayla, a homesick elephant, with her family. This adventure features this unlikely trio as they face all types of trouble (the funny trouble that Curious George is infamous for). The colorful characters in the end learn that with family, friends and determination you can achieve anything. My curious little Monkeys (I have two) are so curious that they attempt to take apart my desktop computers because they see Daddy working on computers and apparently think they are experts on that field too! It’s great to see them with a screw driver trying to “work on Mama’s puter” lol Great giveaway!
I have 3 little monkeys, but one in particular climbs on everything! And it doesn’t help that he encourages the other 2 to do the same! The other day he climbed in the drawer of our brand new kitchen cabinets. Thank goodness it didn’t break!
My little monkey is 15 months old. He’s a climber. I can’t keep him off of anything, and he’s really quiet about it too. We’ve made a few trips to the emergency room b/c he’s jumped off of the table when we turn our backs. (good parenting, huh?) I think he’s part monkey, part spider man, part boy. If you can believe it….I have THREE Curious Monkeys ages 2, 3 and 4. I always giggle when we watch Curious George because he reminds me of my own monkeys. They get into so many predicaments but just like George…they are cute and mean no harm so it is hard to get upset with them.

My curious little monkey is my nephew (since my own little monkey is all grown up) Jayden is the youngest of my nieces and nephews (for now). At 2 years old he is a non stop tornado. I always wonder where they get all that energy and how I ever had the energy to deal with it when my son was two. I admit, he wears me out but I always enjoy our visits. It’s wonderful to see life through the eyes of a child.

I have a 4 year old. He climbs everything. I cant keep him still for 1 minute!!!! I cant even shower, unless someone is in the house with me. If I leave the room for a second, he is usually climbing something!!!!!
