The latest rage in the toy making industry seems to be including a website where children can interact on-line with the toy or game. It’s a great idea to have a safe website where children can learn and play. Ganz, the maker of THE SOFTEST plus toys (in my personal opinion), created a line called Webkinz and recently they have branched out to make an even younger line called Webkinz Jr for ages 3 to 6.
It was like they have been reading my blog and my daughter’s obsession with purple because they sent us a pink dog with purple ears. Of course, I’ve decided to donate him to charity. We have too much around here so we’re sending it off to the next lucky charity Mom Start supports.
When you go to create an account with the code your plush comes with, you can create two accounts. You will be creating an adult account and a kids account. What’s nice about this is that you can monitor everything that your child does on-line as well as send your kid a little note or adjust their activity difficulty. The activities range from naming pets, learning math, reading words, drawing pictures to learning simple science facts. Your child also gets to take care of their pet, which matches the plush, on-line (virtually).

The Take a Tour Video was fun.
I watched the tour video and this is perfect for my Chubby-huggy because regular she needs help all the time with regular webkinz. It’s frustrating to her and I am sure she could easily do this by herself and she would love that.
Its a very cute website!
Love how kids friendly it was… This was so simple that I would be hearing “help please”… plus the graphics are adorable…
I like the site, and I like that they have bunnies…just in time for Easter!
I am an e-mail subscriber.
