Sunday Savings, What’s your best Money Saving Tip? #giveaway

It’s Sunday and it’s the day that I set aside to scour the ads and collect coupons from the Sunday paper. I also go blog hopping and find the best deals at the pharmacy stores like Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS.

When I looked in the paper, I saw that there are three things you can get free at Rite Aid this week.

Rite Aid Deals

Contac Cold & Flu Get $4.99 SCR #33 (Limit 1)

GE Soft White Light Bulbs, $2 Get $2 SCR #89

Theraflu, 4.99, Get $3 SCR #38 use coupon in Sunday paper (Limit 1) Then it’s free.

I like to also see them listed on the internet so I’ll do a search to find them. To find deals at your favorite store, go to your browser and type in “store name” “deals” “date”

My best money saving tip is to subscribe to those blogs who figure out scenarios to get sale items for little or no out of pocket expense! To go along with this, I visit all the coupon sites the first of the month & periodically throughout the month to get my new supply of coupon.
      Thanks!

It’s more of a money making tip, but see if you have unwanted items that you can put up for sale online, like at a local newpaper website, or Amazon, where you don’t have to pay for an ad.

We comparison shop on just about anything. See a new DVD at a good price at Wal-mart – check DVDpricesearch first, to see if it’s cheaper online. We use the online sale papers and see if anyone has what we’re looking at on sale. We very rarely buy anything more than $20 without checking around.

    28. Sonya says:

Shop sales and use coupons, but also shop alone! If I take my hubby or kids I can’t stick to the list!

When my daughter outgrows something, I sew it into something new. Jeans become shorts, stretch pants become a ruffled skirt, 2 ‘too small’ Tshirts become a “2-fer” style shirt.

We also shop church rummage sales for clothes (the last day is generally freebies & 25 cents per bag sales). $1 Curtains & table cloths can make very pretty dresses & shirts. My all time favorite was a reversible Sunday dress for my daughter, made from an embroidered table runner & a pillow case. The whole thing cost me less than a dollar, even including the fabric, thread & straps!

    32. Sand says:

I stock up on staples when they are on sale and use coupons for those items.
