Seafood The Gorton’s Way Recipe Renovation #giveaway

Monday night, I made Fish Sticks. Fish Sticks are so easy to pop in the oven and cook for the kids. They love to dip them in ketchup and if I give them carrot sticks they’ll dip them in ketchup too. I know, you may think that’s disgusting but who cares, my son will eat all his carrots as long as he has something to dip them in. The first time he ate the whole snack bag was when we had tomato soup to go along with them. He’s getting his servings of veggies.

One of the only brands of seafood we eat around here is Gorton’s. Why? It’s my husband’s favorite. He loves the beer battered fish, the small ones and the larger ones. My favorite are the lemon peppered fish sticks. They are more like triangles than fish sticks and one and a half would make a good serving size.

They have grilled options too. Now in re-sealable bags, you can purchase grilled Tilapia, Grilled Shrimp, and Grilled Salmon. I haven’t had a chance to try these grilled options, but I will be trying them now that I have the extra freezer space. It’s because of their healthy options that they wanted me to write about them. I spent my own money buying the fried versions. ;-) . I love sea food. I love it as long as it is cooked. MMM. I’m starting to get distracted here with all my thoughts of how I like to eat sea food so I’m going to bring this post to a close before I get Way OFF TOPIC.
