Mom Bloggers Club and Cottonelle are asking if you put your roll over or under. We’re an over family. It has to be over or mom and dad are grumpy. I didn’t used to care but after living with my husband for 8 years I just have to have it the same way. When someone is staying in our house, it’s “why is the roll the wrong way”.
Just by leaving a comment on this post you are entered into a giveaway of 1 out of 10 gift baskets that Cottonelle is randomly choosing on January 29th across all the blogs that are entered.
This post is my entry into a chance to win a month’s worth of toilet paper from Cottonelle and Mom Bloggers Club. You can join Mom Bloggers Club for more opportunities like this one.

There is only one way in our house, my way and my way is OVER!!!!!
Over…cause that’s how I roll!
I have never really considered that some people roll it UNDER on purpose! I just thought it was kids who didn’t know better. We are OVER and if I find it under I will change it. Ha!
Over, over, over!
I’m a dedicated roll “over” girl.
Over, definitely!! The other way is too frustrating
I am Team Under!!
over over
OVER!!
team under
over!!
Team Over is the only way to roll!
Team Under!
I roll over. =]
I voted Team Under
*Thanks* for the giveaway!
I’ve always like to roll over.
My son’s college roommate rolls sideways.
(Places new toilet paper roll sideways above old empty one still in paper holder.)
Under, of course!
About five years ago EVERYONE was under. How did it change?
When you put it over and pull on one sheet, too many sheets quickly come out. It is SO much easier to quickly tear off sheets when it is UNDER!
Roll over!!!!!!!!!!!
I roll under.
over
OVER…
OVER…
Just sooooo you can find the top in the dark….
If it is under, a hard tug when tearing results in excess spin and the paper can roll to the floor. Over provides more resistence and is the correct way.
Team Over!
under,under,UNDER!!!
Over definitely! I change it at other people’s houses!
under defentently
Under is reserved for when you want to annoy your guests, and there are times when that is useful.
Seriously this is a silly question. Not because it is a silly question, but because the question has a finite component to it. THE ANSWER: OVER
Why? Because under and the part you grab is VERY close to the wall and your hand will most likely touch/scrap the wall causing a possible hygiene contamination problem. Over the part you grab is not near anything but more toilet paper! Try it and see what I am talking about!
Over!!!!Forever and Infinity!!!!!This isnt a democracy its a overocracy,final word.
It is the only way to have your toilet paper greet you. If it is not OVER than it is not worthy of being hung! My boyfriend knows how very strong I feel about this very important issue enough to have sent me this and let me have my say. I have given less attention to political issues!!
Unite Over People!
OVER. I learned the official janitor’s OVER rule when I was a custodian while going to school at the University of Minnesota in 1969.
OVER keeps the walls clean and when you have to clean the walls if they get dirty, you learn that OVER saves you a lot of nasty time washing the walls near public toilets.
I have to point out that hotels and motels… bed and breakfasts and any time share has it over. Over is the proper way.
It all depends where the holder is mounted. I am righthanded and if it is mounted to my right then it is best under. If the roll is on my left I prefer it to be over. If the roll is in front of me then I also prefer over, easier to get to. But since the rolls in my house, except one, are on my right then I guess I am an under guy. Sorry over crowd.
It has to be OVER!!!
How else are you supposed to grab the end?
Me, my mother, her mother and her mother before her were all OVERS, then my husband comes along and tries to switch it to UNDER. Ugh, sooooo frustrating when you have always done it the right way (over) and someone comes along and starts doing it the wrong way (under)!
