I never thought of Toys R Us as trying to keep up with Walmart. No matter what offer or sale they have going at the moment, you can generally find the same thing in Walmart or Target cheaper. They are just a bigger store with more of each product and maybe a few more toys. I’ve had issues every time I go in Toys R Us for one of their sales. It’s just not worth it anymore. I prefer Target.
