I really like how this shows Marriot in a new Light. The place looks classy, clean and comforting. I can’t believe they have locations in 67 Countries! This video made me actually want to check out the website.
    Overall i like this.

  2. Jennifer gersch says:

I do not understand how his cup is related?

  3. Jaylee says:

Goofy, and yet thought provoking. :) I like it. And we like Marriot a lot. This reminds me to bookmark the Marriot site for my next vacation. We have appreciated the friendliness, convenience and comfort of Marriot branded hotels in our past travels but I never think to just go directly to the website to book.

  4. larry says:

    cool getaway

  5. Julie says:

    Interesting commercial…Marriott is awesome!

  6. Marjorie Whitney says:

Saving time is so important these days, no one ever seems to have enough! I’m allin favor of anything that simplifies my life, and I like the Marriott brand.

  7. Iliana Blair says:

I can hook you up with a company my son works for that has developed touchscreen monitors for hotels in the guest rooms! Now that is a novel invention!

  8. Rose O. says:

I liked the Mona Lisa one better too. This one wasn’t very enlightening.

  9. Tricia Andrews says:

I think their commercials are a little quirky, and that makes them memorable. I just stayed at one of their hotels in Oct. 2009 and had a great experience. Would love to have a gift card in my purse when we are doing long car rides and need to find a hotel to stay the night when we get tired. Would definitely stay at a Marriott again!

  10. dorothy l says:

always liked Marriot and the video reminded me of why I like the chain

  11. Anne G says:

I thought the inventor was kind of creepy. However I think the message that Mariott will work with small business to meet their needs came across.

  12. Julie D says:

Had it been on TV I would have stayed around to see what was up with the Ad. I am a channel switcher.

  13. susan says:

I love the Marriott, they are always nice palces to stay, I would love to win.

  14. Brenda says:

    Love the solar-powered coffee maker!

  15. Karen says:

The Marriott has NICE meeting rooms for business, however I love the luxurious rooms and pools!! I would go for pleasure definetly but it would be nice to take a business trip and stay in luxury!

  18. velvet says:

Business travel can be such an incredible hassle- Love love love the idea of making it fun again & getting back to the idea of why we bother doing it! I like the ad & think it’s funny- like that Marriott is putting faces on their brand(s) because business travel tends to be sort of faceless, anonymous & grey. The suites look like everything a modern hotel room should be- good upbeat ad, I thought.

I like how the new marriott site instantly gives you the right way to search, for you. They let you find your way, they don’t force you into a cattle shoot.

  19. Shelley Mitchell says:

We love the Marriott hotels. We travel a lot with the kids sports and always try to stay at these hotels when we can. This would be a great Christmas gift to win this gift card. Thanks!

  20. pat jasmin says:

i love to stay at the marriott

  21. katie says:

I have to say I like the other two Marriott commercials that I’ve seen (mona lisa, obsessed boyfriend) better than this one.

  22. Kyler Wilson says:

Wow, impressive! Marriott has always impressed me.

  23. Patricia Phillips says:

I’m not really sure I get the first part with the solar power cofffee stirrer/cup thing. But I did enjoy the pictures of Marriott.

  24. Jackee says:

    Love the solar-powered coffee maker!

  25. Kate says:

The Marriott is always my first choice when traveling

  26. carol ~ says:

The solar powered coffee maker is different but I liked the pictures of the hotels and would love to win!

  27. Sandra S. says:

I didn’t get the inventor guy. Was it suppose to be funny? I loved the pictures of the hotels. They looked really nice. Thanks for the chance to win!

  28. Julie says:

A little strange if you ask me. But hey whatever works. Love Marriott anyway.

  29. Lori Taube says:

I think it’s great that a company of this size actually listened to real patrons AND took their advice. I think that Marriott took a large step in the right direction, they’re new look looks fabulous! I’d love to visit for myself!

  30. Laura DeLuca says:

I though the commerical was a little dull but it doesn’t change my overall opinion of marriott

  31. christina singer says:

I’d go with another strategy. This commercial is kinda uninspiring. I do Love Marriot hotels though. Always clean and close by.

  32. Edwina Caito says:

I think Marriot made a cute and clever spot to bring in the small business types…….but it will catch the eye of larger businesses as well. With SO MANY Marriot and Marriot branded hotels across the USA, advertising that things have changed to acommodate the business traveler is a great marketing move.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  33. Tracy Pryor says:

Marriot are very nice hotela and I always enjoy my time when we stay but I found the commercial a little boring.

  34. When traveling for work or pleasure I always try to stay at a Marriot. I never have to worry about a room being dirty or uncomfortable. Some of my best sleep happens when I travel and I’m always open for changes that will make using their website even easier. The commercial/ad however is lacking. It doesn’t do the hotel chain justice.

  35. Lee says:

Well, although I find this to be a bit ineffective marketing, I’ll still continue to stay in Marriotts both old and new! :)

  36. Tim Hughes says:

Unfortunately for the good folks at Marriott, this commercial is somewhat of a mess.
The focal point should be the hotels and their ammenities but after seeing the first half of the commercial, all I was thinking about was what does this guy have to do with their great hotels and by the time I realized it was a hotel commercial, it was over.
I missed out on the great photos of the hotels, the guest rooms, meeting rooms, pool, lounge areas and such by my mind wandering elsewhere and not being focused on the product being sold to me.
I also felt the photos were “rushed” when they were being viewed which could have been avoided had they not focused on the guy in the beginning so much.

  37. Julie Moe says:

Cute video, but I think it could highlight the brand and amenities more.

  38. hazel hunt says:

    Would love to win this!!

  39. kristy says:

I liked the commercial. Kept me entertained.

  40. elaine says:

Living in a tourist area, the name says it all

  41. Brandi says:

The commercial is a bit strange, but it was a zany and I liked the inventor!!

  42. ky2here says:

I like this ad because it makes me stop and think. I want to patronize a company that’s a bit odd and unconventional.

  43. Kayce Crews says:

    I can’t load the video.

  44. Heather says:

Marriott is the only hotel I will stay at while I am traveling if there is one near. I love that it is easier to navigate through the site. We always try to book online, but sometime we just like to drive to places and not no which town we may stop in. We love staying at Marriott.

  45. Jay F. says:

I usually think of Marriott for business travel. I liked the humorous reminder of that with your video.

  46. KEN says:

I LOVE THE MARRIOTT HOTEL CHAIN.
NO MATTER WHERE I TRAVEL I CAN EXPECT
    THE SAME SERVICE NATION WIDE.

  47. Bridget Combs says:

I love the Marriott chain. Just stayed at a Renaissance over Thanksgiving wknd and the reimagined lobby was fantastic!

  48. melissa m says:

i think it’s a very cute and practical video. catchy.

  49. Pamela S says:

Well this one is more entertaining of the ones I’ve seen, but it still seems to be an odd connection to Marriott. Thanks.

  50. DanV says:

I like it and checked out their website
