The holidays have arrived and I get to introduce to you the YesDVD Smileshow, an affordable DVD authoring service that enables you to combine digital photos and video into a holiday-themed movie slideshow to share with friends and relatives. Available now, the YesDVD Smileshow is a unique alternative to traditional photo holiday cards, creating a greeting that expresses holiday joy in a meaningful way. Additional YesDVD SmileShow gift ideas can also be found on their blog here.
What you do:
It’s pretty easy to do. You go to Smile Show and give them your e-mail address. Then they send you a generated password and you use that to log in. From there you have an account and you can upload photos or video.
YesDVD Smileshows start at $4.99 for a single copy which includes:
• 50-photo movie slideshow (MPEG-2 format)
• Three music video highlights
• Original photo and video files archived
• Digital scrapbook PC software (Learn more at www.digitalscrapbookdvd.com)
Additional photos can be added for $0.05 each and video footage for $0.50 per minute. A discount applies when multiple copies are ordered. 2-9 copies of the DVDs are available for $4.00 each and orders of 10 or more DVD copies are $2.00 each, a discount of 60%.
I tried to do a mass upload and of course I had way too much selected so instead of uploading some of it, it just told me my selection was too big; which is was. The I was surprised because after that warning it said, would you like to “make another selection” or “upload to maximum”. My camera takes photos and turns them into very large files. One of the drawbacks of having a nice camera, so I would probably be better off if I made all of the file sizes smaller. I haven’t had time to finish the process and purchase my final copy yet for review, but I need to start this giveaway because the codes end December 31st.
So for three days only you can enter to win a free Smile Show DVD. Four winners will be selected.

I think it’s pretty neat for those who do not know how to do it and the pricing is very reasonable.
Inexpensive and easy, plus you can add video that’s great.
