I’ve been watching BBC show since I was in high school. One guy that I really liked loved The Black Adder and I watched tons of it just to spend time with him. I kept hoping that I would become more than just one of the guys, but alas, all I gained was an appreciation for British comedy. Everything works out in the end.
Over the years I grew a much fonder appreciation for their Science Fiction, as we watched Doctor Who. I fell in love with the ninth doctor, Christopher Eccleston, and was quite upset when he regenerated into David Tennant. But over time I was won over and never wanted him to leave. So yes, I’m upset again as he’s about to change over into a new doctor. I had to negotiate with BBC America Shop to get the next chapter for myself. So that’s what I get for hosting this giveaway. I haven’t received it yet so I can’t write a review but I don’t want to ruin it for anyone either.

My husband is British so I have come to really love BBC! I too really loved Christopher Eccleston but also came to love David Tennant, I wish he would have stayed on a few more seasons. I could spend thousands in the BBC America store, but the DVD’s that come to mind that I would love to own are Jane Eyre (2006 version) and MI-5.
