Scooter With A Twist – Whiplash by Street Surfing #giveaway

image002 Have the style of Street Surfing with the handle of a scooter. I feel much safer with this scooter over the skateboard but my children are only 2 and 3. So their products reach out to different age groups.

Street Surfing sent me a skateboard about five months ago. i used my blog to give it away and it is being enjoyed.

The winner of the giveaway sent me some photos of her husband playing with it. Hopefully she doesn’t mind them being posted here.

I mean the picture to the left is just asking to be posted right?

The Original Wave Startup Set

I hate doing cookie cutter posts but today I have to. I have no idea, well, I have some idea because I have seen the wave; but I really don’t have experience with the Whiplash and I don’t want to infer that I do. I can tell you, I’m sure you’ll have fun and you should take safety precautions and wear a helmet.

But here is a Product Description of Whiplash.

Whiplash

Talk about turning heads. Street Surfing is introducing Whiplash™, The Scooter with a twist. This self-propelling, revolutionary new ride is part scooter, part Wave® (caster board) and totally  fun. Centered around the award-winning design of The Wave’s® unique caster design and Torsion technology, Whiplash’s™ flexing deck and handlebar fuse together to provide riders with a cool, side to side, whip-like ride. The patent-pending Whiplash™ provides enough momentum to self-propel – so much so – riders’ feet never need to touch the ground.

Whiplash’s™ extra wide skate inspired deck, available in black with red grip tape, is made of a webbed design carbon reinforced composite material that is supported by an extra long lightweight handlebar. The folding handle provides for easy travel and storage. Whiplash™ has a traditional 97 mm front wheel while the rear caster wheel that zips along on ABEC 7 bearings.
